The venue appearance: 5 stars
The catering: 1 star, (only rating vego/vegan) lacked flavour, cold on arrival. Vego/vegan was rubbery gnocchi with bland sauce for entre and wet rice with canned peas and a mushroom for main (looked like vomit and had cooled before getting to the table). You couldn't offer this awful food at a restaurant so why offer it at a catered venue?
Sound: 1 star, speakers had distorted bass and you could barely recognise the songs you knew.
Temperature: 1 star, don't think airconditioning was on, most guests were sweating and fanning themselves with menu cards from the table (which didn't include vego/vegan menu).
Overall experience: 1 star

From the outset you showed your professionalism, flexibility and a great understanding and commitment to us. Through each of our many date changes, the ladies remained flexible, supportive and helped the process to be as less stressful as possible. The venue looked amazing and we received many comments on how stunning everything looked. All of our guests enjoyed themselves and left with big smiles on their faces. The food was amazing and delicious and we received many compliments from our guests.
We cannot thank the team enough for helping us put on the day of our dreams.

Absolutely gorgeous and spacious venue that made the event I attended very dazzling! All COVID safe measures and practises were observed, and there was also a great menu and very tasty food. My only critique (not sure if this was only exclusive to my event or not) is that the security guards in and outside the venue were quite rude and unapproachable even when shown kindness. Being greeted by that before even going into the event is not the nicest way to start the night if I’m being honest, but aside from this minor issue, it was great overall!

Nothing was ever too hard, and you looked out for us throughout the multiple change of wedding dates and covid dramas. The way we were treated throughout it all is a true testament to the level of compassion held by the San Remo team. We are so happy we chose to have our wedding at San Remo, and got to work with such a genuine team who put on the best night for us. Everyone loved the new look of the venue and the quality and quantity of the delicious food. San Remo made this a seamless and stress free process. We cant recommend San Remo enough to anyone who wants to hold an event. San Remo will work with and cater to your needs and budget. The staff are so down to earth and easy to work with. You will not find better!
