San Remo Ballroom

San Remo is such a nice and spacious venue. Staff are amazing and always helpful. Love doing my special fx at San Remo. Staff and managers are automatically only lighting and aircon. Such a good vibe!

Second year in a row we were back, the team were amazing for our night and made sure it was smooth from start to finish

The room was not bad, the staff ok, but as for the food, it was a rather disgusting experience, for a cost of 150 dollars per person, you should be ashamed especially of those who prepared that food, at the entrance you offered canapé, which you call finger food but they weren't even prepared by you but all defrosted and fried and of poor quality, Spring roll, rice ball, which you call arancini, pork buns worth 20 cents in total, then we move on to the entree who received 6 strips of fried squid, covered with a dash of cabbage to hide the quantity and make the dish seem larger, but let's not talk about the 9/10 gnocchi if we want to call them that, rather than gnocchi they were flour balls on a bed of who knows what sauce, with a little bit of meat in the centre, which must have been braised veal cheek, so it must have been the sauce for those gnocchi, also served cold, but now comes the best part, at the center of the table they bring a it's not clear what it is, lentils or other cereals to be shared like a salad from the other diners, it looked like canned dog food, in fact no one ate it, then another "delicacy" from the chef, this chicken breast we don't know what it was like, but the highlight of the cuisine was the beef fillet, a piece of meat thrown there on the plate of a questionable color with 6/7 even tiny crumbs of dried potatoes, for the chef perhaps roasted, the meat badly cooked, very hard, you needed a chainsaw to cut it, it certainly came from some animal that lived 100 years ago, served in a deplorable way not even a little jus, at least it seemed edible. We finish with dessert, perhaps the only thing with any flavor, and a coffee that seemed more like a draining of grounds. Wonderful, unforgettable evening, I think that after having stolen 150 dollars per person you should be ashamed and not a little, and I would even say you would do much, much better also to see to changing that subspecies of chef or rather cook that you have!

We booked our wedding here back in 2020 before COVID changed the world. During the uncertainty everyone at San Remo was really supportive. When COVID allowed; the San Remo team looked after us on our Wedding Day. Great venue, great team.

Wow just wowww! Where can I start? From the friendly staff, to the beautiful chandelier, to the incredible food, our wedding day was nothing but perfect! Even the most fussy guests still complimented how amazing the food was. The ballroom is so beautiful and elegant and has such a massive wow factor upon entrance. My husband and I absolutely loved San Remo and only hope we get the chance to go back one day for someone's else's wedding so we can enjoy the venue again. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for all your effort in the lead up and on the night, no guests left hungry.

I don’t know where to begin!
We had our wedding at San Remo this weekend. Now, I have not seen such impeccable service ever! From the enquiry stage with the venue, to execution, the staff at San Remo ball room are just FABULOUS!

The food was amazing, 239 people all agreed. I am so happy I chose this venue for my wedding. I have no regrets!

My wife and I celebrated our wedding at San Remo Ballroom. It was a magical evening and I cannot thank Jess, Cinzia, Vanessa & Laura for making our experience one to remember.

The food was absolutely delicious and the room was lit up which our wedding guests were very complimentary about. I am happy to recommend San Remo Ballroom to any other couples looking to have their special day here:)

My son got married Friday 2nd December. The most amazing venue. The Manager and the staff were spectacular. The food was outstanding and all our guests commented how beautiful everything was. I highly recommend the venue for their extraordinary service. Thank you so much for everything.

Recently extensively renovated and just reopened after the Covid shutdown.
The previous tent like fabric ceiling is gone now revealing the original Adelphi Theatres high ceiling.
The centre of the ballroom features a new, massive, stunning crystal chandelier replacing the earlier one. Many smaller crystal sconce lights add sparkle to the circular room.
The foyer has had a large section of carpet removed revealing the original Adelphi Theatres original coloured Terrazzo floor, beautifully restored.
Great historic venue with a parquetry dance floor and proper raised staging area big enough for a large band. Staff are fantastic and helpful, food is delicious
Only hassle is parking, as it's a dense residential area. For most functions they have access across the road to the school's car park.

Gorgeous venue - close to everything, good parking close by, lovely decor and the food was delicious! Staff seemed like they really enjoyed their job, which is important!

The team at Sam Remo were extremely well organised and professional and we had a great evening and the food was excellent

Don't get me wrong the venue is amazing and when and the event I was there for I had the best night with my beautiful lady and her loving family but when I pay $20 for 2 Jim beams I expect them not to be watered down to the point were can hardly taste what your paying for, someone making some extra cash on the side.

The team at San Remo are a dream to work with! From the minute we booked our wedding reception with them, we knew we were in good hands. The whole team are so professional, accomodating and just absolutely wonderful to work with. The venue itself is beautiful, particularly with the gorgeous chandelier. Our guests are still raving about the food & the service, which was incredible to say the least. I would highly recommend SRB, particularly to any couples looking to have their wedding there, you won't regret it!

Finally had the opportunity to visit the famous venue and it didn’t disappoint. The renovated place looked amazing, the service from the staff was great, the food delicious (and nice and warm evert time), the dinner service was on time and the team friendly. Had a great evening, thank you

As a Professional MC I can't say enough about San Remo Ballroom.
The staff are extremely professional and courteous. The food was perfect. All our guests were impressed with the whole experience, as was myself. Definitely 5 stars from me. Highly recommended for any function.
