All this five dishes only $45！And the unagi bento is so delicious with so many traditional japanese entrees！very nice and cheap experience！

I've been coming here for so so many years. Still keep coming back to it every now and then. Passing this place onto the next generation - my kids!

Sushi rolls are delicious.
Bento box has large portion.

Went on a whim because it was cheap and I needed to go somewhere close, but it was absolutely amazing! Delicious food, especially the chicken katsu don, I’m in love and definitely becoming a regular! 10/10 would recommend

I've been coming here for years and Samurai never fails to impress with its consistent quality and very fair prices. Literally one of my favourite Japanese restaurants of all time! The bento has so much variety and value, all this for under $15, it's a must-order for me every visit. The matcha milkshake is also a longstanding favourite, it's more like a thickshake which I absolutely love. Can't wait to return!

Little gem not far from Glenferrie train station. Great value for money - would highly recommend their chicken katsu curry.

The food was excellent. Despite having to wait 30mins for a table when multiple tables were available. I would come here again.

Samurai is another Hawthorn institution that has stood the test of time. The food is simple, tasty and hearty. I always try not to order a green tea milkshake but inevitably give in. I miss the old menu before they brought ipads in, those lunch meal deals were ripper!

Samurai is my local Japanese go to and it's always busy. You'll often have to put your name on wait list though the wait is generally pretty quick because they churn out the food fast!

Delicious food at a very reasonable price. I nearly always get the katsu curry and rice, very tasty and filling and always piping hot for around $10. Really hits the spot!

Excellent quality sushi and dishes for very reasonable price. It gets very busy here and they don’t take bookings so get here early.

I am blessed to have Samurai in my life, Fast, Delicious, Friendly and Cheap, some times packed with customers but there are more seats upstairs and they will try to fit you in somewhere. Oyakodon is my clear favorite, Arigato Gozaimasu!

Well known Glenferrie Rd hotspot that is frequented by students, professionals and families. Can be hard to get a spot but is a good place for quick and cheap fusion Japanese rice dishes.
