This is some of the fastest and most reasonably priced Japanese around. Fantastic for a quick dinner date. Highly recommend the katsu curry.

I love this place. High quality, unpretentious Japanese food for a great price. The owners are committed to serving delicious food and are flexible about dietary requirements. When I was pregnant they were accommodating and even suggested dishes that would be appropriate.

Amazing food, service and experience! I couldn’t believe how good the curry udon and Agedashi Tofu were. Will definitely be back!

It’s not as authentic as it used to be, I ordered an unagi bento & all the deep fried are frozen goods, takoyaki, ebi-fry and unagi. For the price you are paying, it’s not possible to get freshly made unagi but this one was of terrible quality, the unagi was so mushy, almost powdery……. At least have freshly made tako or ebi-fry.
Salmon sashimi was good, good thickness & fresh. My friend was having the curry katsu & was very disappointed too.

Also the tables, utensils, the ordering tablets could do with a clean more often. It’s oily prints everywhere…

So tasty, more food than I was expecting, and so affordable for the quality. I got the matcha thickshake, crumbed fried chicken bento box, and miso soup, and I loved it all, I couldn't recommend it more.

Great little find and now a favourite spot for quick Friday lunch. Bento box and chicken katsu curry are great.

Best service I've had in a long time, the chicken teriyaki bento tastes amazing and has a little bit of everything all of very high quality and a very traditional presentation, the prawn katsudon I ordered for takeout didn't have a very good presentation (which could easily be fixed with some white sesame on top) but the taste was very good and I would recommend it for seafood lovers.

Because the dining in areas is quite small it is better to come with some anticipation before the venue runs out of seats.

One of the oldies ob the street, definitely a good one to go for and usually will have a queue during peak time. Thumbs up for the price staying relatively low and good quality of food stays! Always ordered the same thing that's prawn katsudon:) Complementary tea makes up for the disappointment for being asked to pay the bill and leave after finishing our meal.

Our classic favourite since high school. Budget friendly yet delicious japanese curry dishes and matcha thick shakes! Its so great to finally revisit this place - coming back to a newly renovated, modern and revitalised shop. I had to get their matcha thick shake which was an all time favourite. They now offer bento boxes which is jam packed generously with a huge variety of side dishes.

We had the unagi bento box which comes with crumbed prawn, gyoza, takoyaki, tofu teriyaki, seaweed salad, edamame, rice, salmon sashimi and fruit!

Definitely coming back!

This restaurant is excellent. Taste genuine Japanese, and cramped space gives you a feel of Tokyo as well. Highly recommended.

It’s ok… just don’t get the oyakodon because it was swimming in the ‘sauce’ and 40% water… other than that the sushi was good

The best and cheapest Japanese food going around. I have never once left feeling anything but satisfied with the service, food and overall experience.
