Saluministi reviews
54A taste of Italy in a modern cafe setting with a view across the waters of the Dockland - worth the visit
Bad coffee and very hot I didn't enjoy it and the staff is not nice he raised his voice on me while I ordered coffee I won't come back again I was disappointed
The food here is amazing in the city and your hungry stop here 2 locations around town
Roasted eggplant vegan dish delicious
Love getting my coffee or cappuccino here. I usually get it with a tricolore croissant sandwich they sell all things Italian kitchen, including peroni beer and authentic extra virgin olive oil ️ and it's quite spacious, super friendly staff as well.
I love getting a coffee and a salami toasty from this place, probably my favourite toasty in Melbourne!
It's worth visiting Docklands JUST for Saluministi. The coffee is always on point. The croissant with mortadella and provolone never disappoints. And the panini menu is to die for. To top it all off, the staff are all friendly and the vibe is relaxed and cozy. We're fans for life!
Great coffee, but gee it was loud with the blenders on! I have good hearing but I couldn't hear a colleague whenever the staff put the blender on. And they left it on for a loooooong time.
Music was turned up very, very loud at closing time. Quite rude and unnecessary. Young lady who served us was delightful.
Love this place. Nice space inside, great food shop next door. Service is very good. I also visit the small shop in Flinders lane
Can't believe I have been working in Docklands for over 2 years and only discovered this place now. Highly Recommend!
Very limited vegetarian options. The only sandwich I was able to eat was the Bruschetta - Grilled ciabatta, stracciatella, tomato, Sicilian oregano, basil… which came very dry and way too grilled.
Definitely not coming back.
The other day a good friend told me about this place and we came here, and I must say absolutely amazing delicious paninis you would find here. Excellent atmosphere and great service.
Loved the coffee. Nice place to go for breakfast or lunch. Great outdoor seating space separated from busy road.
Both of us had a day off and there's nothing quite like some packed Italian sandwiches and stovetop coffee to warm up on a rainy day. We tried the coppa panini as well as the spicier option featuring salami and n'duja (picante). I later found out that Saliministi actually specialises in porchetta and had some food regrets not ordering that so definitely would recommend that (I guess it just means we will have to come back soon). Also this place also doubles up as a small Italian specialty food store featuring traditional panettones, wine (some splendid ones from puglia too), biscuits and dessert boxes (Dolce and Gabanna brande and chocolates (Baci) with some Italian music in the background.
Compared to the price, the quality of the food and service is not good. Tried it at least three times, and very disappointed with my orders.
All the rolls and meats are if the best quality. The gents there provide a great service and the coffee is tops
Great staff, great food, coffee & hot chocolate. Can also eat in or take pasta etc home to make. It is now one of my regular stops.
Awesome panini, freshly made.
They aren't cheap, but they are worth every cent. Tasty ingredients on beautiful bread. Also have a nice selection of cured meats, cheeses and other produce to take home.which is great, since there's not much of that to be found in Docklands.
Friendly kind service in the Docklands. This place was easier to find compared to the other ones in the area so stumbled in by accident.
The best and most conveniently located cafe/restaurant to the library on the dock. They have a wide variety of Italian style sandwiches, all of the ones I have had, have been delicious
There's limited space inside, for Saluministi o be considered a proxy-office. That said, they do have the option to open an adjoining space for extra seating. However, this discs is well away from ordering counter
Given location is next to the library on the dock, you can order your food to takeaway and sit in the libraries open space
They do amazing catering for events, especially if your event is held at the library on the dock
My only complaint, is order fulfillment takes time, as does coffees. That said, staff are very friendly, so the service makes up for any delay
