Saffron On Kelletts

Great place for lovely Indian meal, regular visitor here, the food quality is consistent, employees and the owner are very accomodating. Prices reflect the quality of the food. Bookings are essential to avoid disappointed, they do takeaways and delivery as well.

For a 3 course meal (starter, main, desert) without drinks is around $30-35 per person. Butter Chicken is delicious, Lamb dishes have good quality cuts, naan and rotis are well made. Good veg.options like the saag paneer and koftas.

A 5 star rating and please don't change anything, this place passes our criteria of driving up-to 50kms one way to get a good feed.

I'm a truck driver. Ordered a delivery to the BP Northbound Service Centre Scoresby. That's a short, straightforward journey.
The people who took my order were polite and friendly. The menu is extensive and interesting. They were typically busy for a Sat night, so there was an hours' wait.
However, the person they engaged to deliver the food was rude, aggressive and purposely unhelpful. She should not be doing deliveries if she can't navigate a very simple journey, use maps or follow directions, and certainly does no credit to her employer when she is prepared to yell at and insult their customers because she is 'too confused' and the trip is 'too difficult'. Once she arrived at the service centre, she rang for a third time to yell more abuse (because the servo is 'too big'), said she could see my truck, drove past it to the furthest end of the parking area and demanded I walk to her car.
I had told her I have a knee injury so I would be at my truck rather than in the servo. That just provided her with another opportunity to be offensive.

Ruined the experience.
There's another two Indian restaurants nearby. I'll be ordering from one of them in future.

The food at Saffron was outstanding. Full compliments to the chef/a.
It was the second evening that I had their butter chicken and saffron rice and roti.
Beautifully presented and the chicken exceptional with the just right balances of the dish.
The staff were wonderful and Nicole warm and engaging.
The Lychee Martini, a refreshing touch but the new line of health drinks wonderful and wholesome, highlighting the dishes.
Beautiful.
Go there. You won't be disappointed. Or order for delivery.

Absolut Perfect. We had to be near by and had time. Decided to have dinner here. It was absolutely Devine. Delicious good, fantastic service and lovely atmosphere. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. I can’t recommend this place high enough. A truly 5 star Restaurant. Highly recommended.

You can not get better food. I love Indian food and saffron on Kelley’s is the best! Best butter chicken around!

What a fantastic experience!
Service was great and food was perfect.
I may not be of Indian background but I know great food when I eat it.
We ordered a variety of entrees and mains and couldn't fault a thing.
The GOAT CURRY was easily one the best dishes I've ever tasted and highly recommend it to everyone. Amazing!
My children 4yrs and 6yrs also loved everything on the table and were very kindly looked after by the wonderful staff.
We live an hour away but definitely worth the travel. Thank you to everybody at "Saffron on Kelletts" for such a great experience.
We will be returning soon for sure.

OMG! The best Indian food! We went for the first time on Saturday night all the way from Greenvale and would go again in a heartbeat! Such a warm and cosy place with wonderful staff. A massive thank you for customising a dish to meet the dietary requirements for my son. We got the eggplant, goat, lamb, butter chicken, beef and potato and the mixed grill and it was the tastiest food ever. My husband is Aussie and has never really been a fan of Indian food, but can say he is Saffron On Kelletts number one fan.
We throughly enjoyed our night and kids loved it too and will be back soon!

We booked for 10 people at 6pm on a Wed
night. At about 6: 45pm the waitress came and
asked if our 10th person was coming, to
which we said she may be coming later, she
had been held up. Said waitress then
launched into an attack about the small
restaurant they are and that we need to give
notice if someone isn't attending.we did say
we thought she was coming but didn't know
when. Apparently they could've used her 1
seat for another booking. (? !)
She came back to the table just before 8 and
asked us if we would still be there at 9pm
because she wanted to accept another
booking for 6 people. We didn't really have
any choice but to say we would leave.
Finally, at about 8: 45, when half of our table
were left, she came over and started moving
one of our tables (where someone was
sitting! To set the new one.
The quality / taste of the food in this case is
totally irrelevant. The lack of service put a bad
taste in our mouths the minute she came over
to our table.
I'm only giving 1 star because I have to to
leave a review.

Great restaurant for big groups, Owners were great and were accommodating for extra guests. Cheap prices and fresh Food. I’ve hated living in Lysterfield for years but this makes it much more bearable.

Fantastic food and service! Great authentic Indian food and all the staff are genuinely caring and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. Great wines and cocktails too. Absolutely loved it and can’t wait to go back!

Put this down as your favourite Indian restaurant. Simply delicious. You will not be disappointed.

The food was delicious and so was desert the only problem was the time we had to for our food we where for an hour and a half but only ate for 20 minutes.

Good food. Prices on the menu from their website are outdated and it's no cheaper to buy direct with the restaurant if you use their preferred online ordering system.

The best of North Indian cuisine

This is a true hidden gem, and we were delighted to discover it on our journey there. The food and service are just outstanding!
The cuisine is authentic and fantastic!

I was blown away by the speed of their service, and the meal was quite fresh and tasted authentically Indian. Our bare plates speak for themselves. Chefs, please accept my heartfelt complements. It was an honor for us to meet the lovely Nikky Salgadoe.

Great place but not too big for larger parties. Food is great but catered more to the Australian/English palettes so just setting expectations if you are Indian like me. Order takeaway naan here frequently and always get a generous portion. Highly recommended family run business.

Worst food I have ever ordered in Rowville! Disgusting. If you want authentic Indian do not order.it's just dirty old jailhouse food

Just standard tasteless food made by incompetent chefs. Some curries look and taste the same and they get fairly rude when given the feedback. Should avoid this place completely.

Subject to staff members working on the day. The staff member today was quite rude and gave an abrupt answer when checked the wait time on food. I am a regular customer and utterly disappointed by today’s experience

My partner and I have eaten at all the local Indian restaurants and this place has the best vegan curries for sure!
