I rate myself as an expert on Indian cuisine and let me tell you, Saffron Indian Cuisine is most definitely a jewel in the crown for Geelong. The service was exceptional, the décor is pretty good, the price is superb, but let me tell you about their food. We had plain naan, cheese naan, tandoor lamb cutlets, samosas, chicken tikka masala, saffron rice and mango chicken. Firstly, the quality was amazing, the quantity was even more amazing, the freshness, the aromas, just stunning. I will return again next week, in fact, I can't wait to dine there again. We had a feast of food and it barely cost $50. Can't wait to try their vindaloo and madras dishes to compare to what I've enjoyed elsewhere.
