Saffron Indian Cuisine

I really enjoyed Saffron Indian Cuisine last week. The place is more than awesome and I'm totally returning again for it's delicious food and amazing cuisine. Loved it really.

Their Brunch was great. The place is totally fine and beautiful with lighting. We enjoyed the food and I must say that the food was lip smacking. I would recommend everyone about this place for perfect Indian Cuisine.

Had non veg Thali, butter chicken was not appetizing as it was sweet, lamb curry was the only thing on Thali that was ok. Overall not very tasty, not worth of price.

I must admit a bias: I love Indian food. I've tried all the Indian restaurants in Geelong (and there are quite a few), and we keep coming back to the Saffron. No matter how busy they are, they always find a table for two, and the service is fast and efficient, and the food very good. An excellent range of dishes, great intimate atmosphere, and very friendly staff. A great way to relax after a week at work!

Highly recommended. After trying a number of the Indian restaurants in Geelong and being disappointed I was really impressed by this place. Goan fish curry and aloo bangain were excellent

Chicken tikka masala ordered a couple of weeks ago was amazing and as per the menu description! I ordered it again yesterday and was disappointed, cubed carrot was added in? And less chicken. Maybe the carrots were to make up for the chicken? Also there was no green peppers so very different to the description of the menu.

This Indian resteruant is a few blocks back from the Main Street. But well worth the diversions. If you like curry, and of the English-Indian type, it is perfect. Nothing to look at from the outside, but once inside, it is pure class. No paper sheets on the table, but really attractive wooden tables. Extremely clean - on the side of immaculate/ As for the food, well, absolutely first class, high level ingredients - either if you are a veggie or a carnivore. I would say the is without doubt, a hidden treasure of Geelong. Have had many Indian meals in Australia and have no problems that saying this is the best so far.

I have been to saffron for dinner before but recently had a great experience. I was there for dinner last Sunday (4/10/2020), the food was amazing and service was incredible as well. We had a child with us and the staff went above and beyond to make sure the food wasn’t too spicy and we so accomodating the whole time we were there. Fantastic price, delicious food and great service. Will definitely be back! And thank you to the lady who served us!

This place has become our favourite place for Friday dinner. Very delicious food.staff is very good and friendly.

One of the best Indian meals I've had in Australia.being from the UK my standards are very high. Delicious food, lovely service and the best cheese naan I've ever eaten. Will 100% be back!

We love the Saffron. The food is always great. There is a large menu and I think we have tried pretty much everything on it. It is all good. The staff are always friendly, the prices a great and it is BYO wine.

Meals were on point. Vegan and gluten free options. Absolutely great atmosphere with awesome customer service.

Chicken biriyani was disappointing. Felt more like a basic chicken curry lacking in spices simply mixed with rice.

Food arrived early yet cold, ordered vegan deal and coconut ice cream wasn't sent. Rang them and they arranged to send it the next day. When icecream arrived it was normal milk icecream and not the coconut icecream listed in their vegan meal menu. Then they tried to tell me their vegan icecream is vanilla. It seems that it was false advertising on their behalf. Order from them at your own risk. In my experience I wouldn't trust anything they list as being vegan to be accurate.

Good service, food and value. Don't be out of by the modest furniture and ambiance. The naan bread is great, as are most of the dishes. Our favourite Indian restaurant in Geelong.

This unassuming place serves really delicious food. We ordered the vegan banquet and boy, was there alot of food! Quantity alone isn't important. We found the food to be delicious and full of flavour and spices as well.

First timers to this restaurant and it won't be the last. Waiter was very polite when we entered and was very helpful to explain the dishes we ordered. The food was so flavoursome. We had between us, entrée Tandoori Mix Meat Sizzler this is a huge feed on its own it came with minted yoghurt and another sauce I am not certain as to what it was, mains were Beef Vindaloo & Balti Beef both of these meals were so nice a shame we could not fit it all in. When we are next in Geelong we will be dinning here again.

Just lovely as usual. The depth of flavours and overall journey of the dish really did give me an experience.

Restaurant is cozy, pretty amazing table set up, service is fast and staffs are friendly. Food is fantastic! I highly recommend this restaurant!

I will never oreser from this place again, the order was wrong, so I called them and they would replace it. I went in and they had it ready for me. I tasted it and it was still wrong so I asked for my money back. They said they would refund for the "Korma" but that's all. Everything else I had was cold and no use to me now so I wanted a full refund. They kept saying they can't, only for the "Korma" they could. They were all out the back laughing and looking my way. I was then done being polite. I demanded my money back and told them I would take it further if they didn't. It was then, they gave me all my money back.
