Was late to my dads bday because they gave my $50 order away to someone else and then were delayed over half an hour before we got the order again, in which time my mum and dads order which had been sitting for 40 minutes was virtually cold by the time we got home.

Their $10 meal is a good amount of food for the price

Worst fish and chips ever! Undercooked stale fish, limp chips and highly suspicious stinky scallops oozing with undercooked batter. What a waste of money!

Had THE BEST food from a chip shop in years!
The pumpkin cakes are big enough to have instead of fish (great for kids, cheaper than fish too!), the chips were crispy and soft inside. Even the fried dim sims were refreshing and light, delicious! I could taste the veg and greens, it was a fabulous meal for ten dollars, with 2 pumpkin cakes, chips and 2 fried dim sims, we even had left overs between the two of us!

Food is great, and the staff are very friendly. Easy to talk to and they seem to know alot of people or have built many good regulars.

For the price they charge for their calamari rings and minimum chips you would expect quality. When a four year old says the calamari rings taste like bread (and believe me they did taste like bread and had the texture too) it makes for a disappointing dinner treat.

We won't be coming back.

Possibly the worst fish and chips I've had in my life, the flake is not gummy shark and everything was both dripping with oil and the meat were dried out.

Fish and chips were just as expected. Hot, crunchy, fresh and the right amount of salt. Service was friendly, store was well maintained and parking is convenient. Thanks

The Price vs Quantity vs Quality was not worth it, a can of drink 2 small pieces of fish and a small box of chips $22, the fish looked like it had been sitting in the cold bainmarie for hours, and the scallops looked like they were bad and slightly slimy, will never eat here again

For ten dollars of chips for a minimum, couldnt even feed three teen age kids, if u gonna get a minimum from here make sure u by 3 lots of chips

Good service, not the cheapest prices around, but fish & chips were good, dim sims very tastie, friendly & polite staff.

Great roast dinner available.
Potato bake was pretty tasty. Always my go to take away shop for a quick dinner for the family:)

Easter weekend just called in and got $10 worth of chips. Family enjoyed them when I took them back to my sister's. Not one was left.

Soggy chips, not cooked enough, not crunchy, need more salt. Maybe try scraping the chips before cooking. Will try again

Best fish and chip shop in Ballarat hands down. Great batter, great fish and well priced. Love their pumpkin cakes and home made dim sims and chips are always nice and crisp just the way I like them. Super quick with orders despite being busy and also do some great Chinese food. Have never messed up an order and staff are always friendly.

This shop is cash only, i was short of cash once and ol mate tried to slide me a deal. Couldn't use eftpos

On a Friday night, it is busy enough to know it's popular, but not so busy that you wait for long. Good variety of fish available.
