Roza Cafe reviews
62Best mandi in Melbourne, and the best was complimentary tea which i didn't get anywhere across Melbourne even after paying, the lady at the front counter served well today.
The food was ordered an hour ago and it was meant to be ready in 30mins which wasn’t! Been very disrespectful to the customer when asked about the order. Last place to go to when really hungry!
"Halal Food"
Arabian dishes (Kabsa and Mandi) served with a hot soup and salad.
Choice of meat: Mutton and Chicken.
So many things on the menu, yet only two items available. This has been the case for several years. Food is also overpriced
Tried "lamb mandi" there loved it, they also offered complementary tea, soup. And the place has a nice traditional ambiance
Had a great experience
Not a best place to try mandi. Don’t accept cards, atms around and inside ain’t working occasionally. Food quality is just average. Little bit of Waiting time. Staff is unprofessional.
Unclean place, used plates left on ground while the waiter was busy with his mobile phone. We ordered lamb mandi and Chiken mandi. Chicken mandi was good but lamb mandi was full of bones with little amount of meat which had no taste.
Appetizer was a warm, spicy soup. It was free too. Lamb Mandi was okay but I've tasted better. Pricing is reasonable as is the serving size, so it's good to come here for a cheap dinner. The staff were friendly and service was quick. Sitting on the floor, the traditional Bedouin way to eat, was a new experience.
Yemeni & Saudi cuisine. Tasty with a matching authentic environment with traditional Bedouin floor seating in additional to normal dining tables. Traditional Tea is delicious & free all you can drink. Recommended for an authentic experience.
First time and last time for sure to visit this restaurant.
Drove all the way from Hawthorn East to here for such a terrible experience.
They told us Mandi lamb will take 20-25 min, but guess what, it has been more than 45 min and the food has not been served yet. They keep telling us 7 more mints.
Asked them a million time for tea and they keep saying in a bit and that was 30 min ago
So terrible service, I strongly advice you against coming to this place
Amazing food. It tastes like the traditional arab mandi. Slow cooked meat was perfectly done. The meat just melted in my mouth. The service was lovely. They offered me a soup before the meal. Great hospitality. Traditional Arab vibe in the restaurant
We just loved the food real authentic taste lamb Mandi. Would definitely recommend if you wish to eat middle eastern food. Not a fine dine type but enjoy food & ginger tea amazing.
Bad experience, bad service and food not fresh. Whatever you order, they say finished. Food served without starter and they didn't take my order unless paid. Went there based on the people reviews but bad experience.
Best Mandi in Melbourne. We always come here for it even though we have moved way further now. The service is very good and mandi is just amazing!
Tried the chicken kabsa, very nice with lots of flavour.
Only down side, tables were not clean, can’t breathe in their due to being so packed and no aircon on.
Customer service was okay, but should be a better one for first timers considering they didnt even have a menu, just had to go up and ask what they are serving for the day.
Need to improve customer service
Chicken mandi is really good and the rice as well, but the amount of the the rice with each meal should be more than that,
The Mandi they sell is very tasty but the sitting arrangement is horrible not a place to sit and enjoy your meal but good for take aways
You have to ask which dish was recently cooked, for a better taste. Otherwise you’ll get something cooked +2 hours ago
Great resturant.great traditional arabic food.kabsa.mandy.madhby.madghoot.even there takeaway is similar to the the dine in experience.i had kabsa takeaway the other day and honestly i bited my fingers from the grear taste and was welling to eat another half chicken.i defenitly recommend this place for any arab or middle eastern person who miss the traditional meals
