Royce Hotel Melbourne

We highly recommend The Royce hotel it is in a great location. Nothing is too much trouble, their staff are wonderful, and special mention to Nate and Gerard who made our stay with our family for our sons wedding an absolute joy. Our king Balcony rooms and terrace room were stunning, dining and in room food and drinks were fabulous, valet parking perfect, can't wait to come back to your beautiful boutique hotel again, thank you everyone.

One of the best boutique hotels ever. It helps that it got recently renovated. Besides the chic art-deco style, the food and service are first-class.

The staff were so wonderful during our daughters wedding and nothing was too much trouble. Would highly recommend the Royce for and occasion, thanks again for making our night so wonderful

Problems with shower floor when wet, very slippery (why 3 star applies, the rest of room was great), no affordable drink options in bar or minibar with wine and champagne

We were here for breakfast at The Terrace. The most exceptional service in Melbourne. Although we were not hotel guests, the manager was extremely kind, attentive, friendly and professional. Food was delicious and coffee was lovely- the same as top Melbourne brunch cafes. Not able to book the breakfast via website but you can easily ring up to make a booking. The newly renovated hotel is just gorgeous. The terrace was covered with plenty of sunshine through the glass doors. Staff were kind and no one rushed us at all. Thank you for such an amazing breakfast! Location is great, tram is right outside the hotel.

Absolutely beautiful. I can’t think of anywhere I’ve been in a while that is this visually gorgeous, great atmosphere, music with such friendly staff. Oh and of course fab cocktails!

Unbelievable hotel, extremely well presented and the recent renovations are incredible! Must see in person to appreciate the beautiful design changes. Food, rooms and staff are all amazing

We recently stayed at the Royce for our anniversary. We also happened to get married at the venue, pre-renovations 7 years ago, and were excited to see it newly refurbished.

It did not disappoint. The room was amazing, the staff were super friendly and breakfast the next morning in the 'glass house' was a great way to finish. Thank you to everybody there for making it a great mini-vacation.

We had our engagement party here and Laura the events coordinator was incredibly organised and attentive, and the venue and staff were fantastic. Could not recommend it more highly. Thank you for looking after us so well and looking forward to visiting again soon.

Tolle Empfangshalle und sehr sympathische Menschen an der Rezeption. Die Lage am botanischen Garten ist gut und die Innenstadt zu Fuß oder mit der Bahn schnell zu erreichen. Die Betten sind bequem und das Bad schön eingerichtet.
Was negativ aufgefallen ist, dass die Dusche bis eine mittlere Temperatur erreicht wurde, minutenlang laufen musste. Dies war an allen 3 Tagen und auch zu unterschiedlichen Uhrzeiten der Fall, also ein grundsätzliches Problem. In dem Jahr wo es aufgrund von Dürre und Hitze zu einer unfassbaren Zerstörung der Natur in Australien gekommen ist, ein Zustand, der völlig inakzeptabel ist.
Ebenfalls negativ ist das Frühstück aufgefallen, welches bereits im Zimmerpreis enthalten ist.
Ein Frühstück von sehr geringer Auswahl (Cornflakes und Toast mit Marmelade/Honig, Kaffee, Saft und Fertigmuffins) ist, verfügbar. Keine Wurst, Käse, Eier, etc.
Es gibt die Möglichkeit einzelne Produkte zu bestellen, dies dann aber zu einem sehr hohen Preis, sodass bei der Zusammenstellung eines normalen Frühstücks das Preislimit im Vergleich zu anderen 5 Sterne Hotels locker überschritten wird.
In Summe sollte hier das Basisangebot verbessert oder es komplett einstellt und auf ein wie in der 5 Sterne Hotellerie übliches Pauschalpreismodell zurückgegriffen werden.
Zuletzt ist das deutliche Dröhnen der Lüftung zu erwähnen, welches unabhängig davon, ob die Klimaanlage eingeschaltet ist oder nicht, Tag und Nacht zu hören ist.

Appalling service, barman in cap was rude and got the order wrong. Would have had better service at McDonald’s. We will certainly not be back

Ow such an amazing Hotel! Love the rooms, felt like a film star! Kind welcoming staff and involved management (thanks Nick Mc Clennan). Loved the Hallways too. Drinks outside, just a cool place to be.

Absolutely loved this place! The staff could not do enough for us, so friendly and Lea looked after us and made our experience amazing. Will definitely come back!
