Tandoori chicken was nice however overpriced Naan, ordered cheesy garlic naan and cheese naan and no cheese in any of them much to my disappointment: (

Delicious Indian food! Tried for first time tonight and was super impressed! We had the Aloo Baijan (eggplant and potato) and the beef Vindaloo (yummy but hot!) highly recommend

Fantastic Indian food. Menu awesome! Able to assist with special requests.in our case Beef (not lamb) Rohan Josh.very easy to give order by phone instead of online and prompt delivery. Great service!

We popped in on Boxing Day and were pleasantly surprised by the flavours, quantity and attentive service. We had one of the set banquet menus. We'll definitely be back if we're in the area.

Went there to taste Indian and Nepalese style food but was a disaster.
The Calamari Pakora came out to be frozen calamari rings from coles which is not an Indian Pakora which was a first dissappointment on the starters.
Chicken Korma was tasteless.
Goat Curry (Which i ordered to go WILD HOT, and wanted traditional Indian Goat Curry), But this was the dish for which I wont be going back again. The Goat curry is made of tomato pure and goat only, and the curry was no HOT at all, just a smooth italian paste.
After tasting these dishes, we decided to end the dinner and head home so left almost all food.

For an Indian and Nepalese restaurant, I personally take it as an offense when they put Nepali Food on the menu and serve Italian tomato puree in Goat Curry, That is not Indian or Nepali curry at all.

For the $106 dollar I spent for 3 People, I would not recommend this restaurant if you want a native Indian food at all.

Had the standard banquet tonight and cannot say enough about the quality of the food served here. This restaurant has consistently produced a high quality of food with flavours unmatched in the region. If you have not already eaten at Royal Time, pass the usual Indian restaurant you have been eating at and stop in for a meal. You will be telling your friend's and family about this one.

Worst experience ever. Never had such biryani ever you can’t call it biryani. Fish tikka portion was too small. Butter chicken was low average. Very disappointed

Ordered the vegetarian banquet and although we were the first ones in, we waited more than an hour for our mains. Entree was pakora which had spent way too long soaking in oil and samisa, which, honestly was one of the most boring I've had. Mains didn't impress any further. As we waited hoards of people picking up food were lining up but also having to wait. Something needs to change.

So many healthy vegan and vegetarian options!
Had spinach pakoras and onion bhajis were great in main course bombay potatoes with coconut rice and garlic naan really amazed me.totally in love with Bombay potatoes all vegan️
pricing on the menu is reasonable and location is perfect.
Heard the veggie samosas and pumpkin masala are amazing I will need to try them next time

Very poor experience. Ordered food at 6.30pm, staff missed out on including one item in the order and mentioned food will be delivered in 60 minutes, but after almost 90 minutes and 2 phone calls to chase the driver the food had still not arrived. Food wasnt that good either. I would avoid ordering food from here again.

Got takeaway here with dad and we decided to eat it outside on the metal tables, instead of going around to Lilydale lake as it gets dark quite early here these days with daylight savings time. It was very cold and dark by the time 6: 30-7 rolled around. But it was so refreshing having one of the chefs pop out and check in on us. Made the meal that much more special. Keep up the great work guys!

The best indian food! Love this place we go every week for dine in or take away, been going there for years now and always the best highly recommend never been disappointed!

Got big chunks of cashews in my curry (shahi paneer). Also chicken tikka masala is not what you would expect, the chicken is not tikka its basicallly cooked in gravy and is sweet.
Never ordering from here again.

Very good experience in royal time indian. Diffrent types of crusines of indian & good environment. I really enjoy food & quality of it.

Bad food. At least 2 days old food from the freezer. Came only after seeing the reviews. Bad experience and poor quality food. Service girls are ok but the food let us down.

Absolutely loved the food.the meats were tender, flavors were awesome, service was excellent. Thank you Royal Time for a memorable take-away:)
