Ordered chicken 65 biryani but got something else (wrong order), called after receiving order but staff argued instead of apologising. Poor customer service and no politeness when dealing.

Absolutely terrible malai kofta. I pretty much knew before I even tasted it They didn't even strain the sauce. Dumplings were tiny and just inedible mush advertised as paneer, potato and fruit. No fruit. Sauce was so salty. Threw the lot in the bin At least try and make the food good.

We went to this place for dine-in. We were totally disappointed with the experience we had. There was way too much salt in the food. The breads were chewy and hard. The naan was under cooked and when we showed it to the person, they just said sorry and still charged for that undercooked bread. I felt sick after eating their food.
No hospitality. No hygiene. They don't care for the people. Basically there is nothing good about this place.

Best n tasty food. Twice went there, food served with very good quantity. Very good n friendly staff. Highly recommend for desi food place. Will go back soon.

Best Indian food I've ever had from a restaurant. Simply beautiful. Don't be put off by the decor, as it does look a little dingey and run down. The food is outstanding though and I would recommend this place to anyone who's wanting a delicious, wholesome Indian feed.

Taste, flavour everything is perfect. Real taste of indian food. I have tried every single restaurant in area and most of them don’t know how to make good food.

Without any exaggeration, this is the best Indian food I have ever eaten. (And I eat a lot of Indian food!) Whoever is working the kitchen just knows how to combine ingredients and get the right balance of flavours. It's incredible because when you walk past the place, it looks pretty drab and ordinary. You know you're not paying for the decor.just brilliant. Thanks Royal Punjabi Boys!

My room mate ordered some samosa and goat biryani for take away. Samosa was a bit charred looked like it was fried a bit too much and biryani doesn't even taste like biryani. Tastes more like fried rice with some pieces of goat. Very dissapointed.

A poor representation of Punjabi food. I firstly ordered going by the restaurant name that it would be good punjabi food.but like many Indian restaurants in Melbourne another below average Indian restaurant. I was disappointed on the first try but I wanted to give them another try. They have been consistent in disappointing as the food is not good at all. Business names should be reviewed before they can own a name.because if their food was tried they will never be authorised to be “Royal E Punjab”. Nothing royal about this restaurant or their food.

We ordered Shahi Paneer and kadahi panner and it was very delicious will definitely order next time

Quite a large variety of curry but mediocre in quality. Tandoori chickens were beyond dry, and the butter chicken was watery and bland. Avoid their garlic naan for disappointment too.

I'm Indian and I am also Punjabi. I grew up with Indian food. While I may tolerate food that is slightly low quality, I have to say this food is despicable. It shouldn't be allowed to sell, the quality of ingredients is horrible. Only sugar and food colouring are used in making these curries. I am sorry to say, I'm ashamed of their food quality and would request others to refrain from ordering there, till things improve.

One of the best Indian food found in Melbourne. I been to many Indian restaurants but I love curries of this restaurant and best service.

Just found out the family who used to own this place from last 6 years have opened up their new restaurant in craigieburn Taste of Amritsar. Finally found out where the best food is available now. Was soo disappointed to find out that the chef is gone yet relieved to know that they’re in craigieburn now.

We ordered via ubereats and mistakenly did not order rice and a roti. We called them and initially they said we needed to put through our order again, but instead they decided to just gift it to us.
We have ordered from them before and always liked their food, but this time leaving a review because they are extra kind to our needs, especially during this crazy times!

Food is so bad, that i had to force puke it out of my system.
Came here only after reading reviews,
Now, either the regular chef was not here or i had my expectations too high. Disappointed.

The food here is actually so delicious. I never even write reviews but i felt like I had to because I can't even explain how good these curries are, its easily the best Indian in Melbourne. So good. Seriously.
