We were there setting outside with our puppies and it was lovely just to watch the world go by.
Pricing was respectable too. Can get really busy too.

If you want to start your day right, go and have breakfast at this beautiful spot.

This place is awesome. The service is really good, and the food is just delicious as is the vibe. My only slight criticism is that I would have loved my coffee to have arrived before my meal not during as the delicious spicy meal overpowered the flavour of my coffee.

Service was brilliant. Nice vibes in the cafe. We ordered three milkshakes, the vanilla one was great, other two were terrible. Banana was so so sweet and the Sir Lamington was just dreadful. That flavour combo shouldn’t exist. Food looks great though.

The staff in recent times have been very arrogant.don’t ask for a ice long black cause that’s not what you gonna get.you’ll be charged $7 for an ice coffee in a Normal coffee cup with two ice cubes.it’s a shame cause I really liked this cafe and been there heaps but in recent times the stuff have been nothing but rude!

The decor was lovely and the staff was excellent. The kaski I got was absolutely incredible, one of the best cafe meals I’ve had in Melbourne!

A fantastic and eclectic breakfast spot, with great food and a very funky interior, Rowena Corner Store is really good! Using a mix of old signage, and corner store staples like milk and lollies, it's a wierd combination of a café, crossed with a corner milk bar.

The food was really great and the staff are super friendly. I will absolutely be back and would highly recommend it to anyone.

Also the artworks on the side of the building, by Dvate and Lucy Lucy, are worth checking out also.

A peaceful neighbourhood offering. A warm feel from the space which is heavy on the browns and decorated well with Mediterranean pantry items. Kaski was the pick. Firstly, the bread matched the dish; crunchy, chewy and functioned to balance and scoop up the rich sauce. The sauce is now on the list of things to recreate at home, capsicum, olives, tomato, paprika, it all came through. The hint of spice from the chilli, and acidity and juice from the tomatoes was balanced by the ricotta and the overly (in my opinion) generous serve of feta. The Small Batch coffee is another pro. Completely satisfied, hope to return, do recommend.

Friendly staff and great menu. Lots of middle eastern themed dishes to choose from and good portion sizes. Smoothies were also nice!?

Stumbled across the cafe after some medical appointments in the area. What a gem! Food and coffee was great; service impeccable and a fantastic setting. I will be back.

What a brilliant little eatery, tucked away from everywhere in the back streets. Great friendly staff, diversified choices for brekky or brunch and a good selection of choice deli foods in the fridges. We come from 10 kms away on the other side of town to enjoy the ambience and meet family and friends to share good food.

Good coffee and food, VERY SLOW service, to a point you need to wave to be seen and spoiled whole experience. Understand it’s a weekend and they are busy but still expected better service/preparation considering they charge you 10% extra service fee.

I love this place. The coffee is delicious. The food is scrumptious. The guys working there are fabulous. It just feels so warm and friendly when you sit down at your table. Cannot recommend this eatery higher.
