Roule Galette reviews
71What a pleasure to find a little piece of Brittany in Australia! The crepes were super good and the service super fast. I recommend
I went at closing time and got takeout, and everyone, including the French staff, was very friendly.
The food is extremely delicious -
Had a Caramel crepe with spiced apple & home made icecream.
It was presented like a kids dessert and was a plate of sugar with sauce criss crossed all over it. 4 slices of spiced apple.the icecream was really nice. Crepe was not what I expected either from the reviews I'd read previously. Coffee was average too.
I hate not giving good reviews but I do honest ones as I go places based on reviews.
The food was sensational. The flat white perfect in its smoothness and temperature. The Colombian brew not as good, but overall well worth the visit to this quaint establishment.
I order the flavor of the month so this month is Banoffee the best crepe ever feeling like eat this crepe in France bon appétit
A great atmosphere every time i come here.this little place is always busy with people and for good reason (however i’ve never had to wait more than 5 mins to sit down). All their variations of galettes/crepes have been outstanding.
Good crepes, on the pricy side but worth it. Highlight is the escargo for main and biscoff for dessert. Best to visit at off peak, super hard to get a table without waiting.
You can choose gluten-free cooking options for your meals. Regardless of whether they are salty or sweet, the flavor is great, and the coffee is great too! It's a pity that the oil smoke is a bit heavy, but the flaws do not hide the advantages.
Always visit this creperie when I’m in Melbourne. It’s so unique and the food is so consistently good. Service is great too. Now that they have moved to a bigger space, there’s no longer any issue with getting a table! Yay
Staff were really friendly and accommodating.
The food was really great and overall great atmosphere.
Beautiful crepes with very fresh salad and fruit toppings even flambé, popular, charming, tiny cafe - a little France in Melbourne très bien
The food was absolutely delicious, part of our party was vegan and they were very impressed with the "La Garden" galette. The Capri with added potatoes was so devine and satisfying. Drinks were also delicious - the Biscoff milkshake (vegan option) was beautiful and the house made Chantilly in the iced caramel latte was amazing! Service was great, the staff were exceptionally kind and attentive even though they were very busy and the location and aesthetic was perfect. Will definitely return and highly recommend!
The wife & I had savoury crepes for breakfast & hands down the best we've had. The staff are very friendly & helpful, it was an all round great experience! We will be telling all our friends.
Excellent coffee, friendly service and a fantastic range of delicious crepes. Note that on a hot day the inside area doesn't get cool because of all the cooking and the sunlight coming in but there is an outdoor area that's mostly shaded. Can get very busy on weekend too.
Friendly and attentive staff. Delicious crepes and galettes. Nice coffee and other drinks. Love it!
I had passed by a few times, but it was always busy. Today I timed it right and got to try a Galette. It was delicious and reminded me of Breton cuisine from times past. I looked longingly at the milkshakes and creamy deserts that others were having, but my coffee and Galette were both great and I needed nothing more. The service was good and I was brought water without having to ask.
1. The 1% surcharge for $7 is 7 cents, whereas for $2 is 2 cents.
2. Once the customer gets ready to sit down, it’s not nice to ask them to move.
3. How staff present themselves makes a difference. If come across as being in a rush, then the customer feels rushed too.
I hate to list the above but it’s just these little petty things that influence the customer experience. Hope it helps!:)
All in all, the new girl with sleek black and blonde ponytail is amazing and killing it at work!
What an authentic and lovely little find. I have food allergies (gluten and dairy) and they were warm and willing to accommodate my needs during a busy breakfast rush. Coffee was excellent and food was high quality and tasty.
I have been meaning to try this place out for ages and finally got around to it, and it did not disappoint. The food was quick, light and delicious. The wait staff were all super lovely - I even observed them go to extra lengths to accommodate a disabled man to make sure he got the full experience. Would recommend for a quick, simple meal.
