The food is always nice and affordable. This is always a good go to in footscray. BYO wine is allowed so you enjoy your meal with a lovely bottle of your favourite wine

Roti Road used to be great, but standards have dropped. Perhaps a poor choice, but the Calamari was completely inedible. Rubbery and overcooked, when I politely drew the servers attention to the fact, and asked for some roti instead, I received a shrug of the shoulders and an instruction to order inside (and pay) for a new dish. If you fancy Malaysian seafood, I'd recommend Chef Lagenda in Kensington instead.

Meal was really good proportions.

Highly commendable is the Roti Canai and the Chivken Curry was so good too!

Would definitely come back again!

Best malayasian food within pockets. Friendly staff.

Chicken skewers with side dips are awesome. One Curry Laksa would be suffice for two people. The quantities are more than usual and would definitely come back again.

Had to try the recommended curry laksa and now I see what all the hype was about. Absolutely delicious. Was pretty shocked at the serving size also. I ate what I could (after finishing my roti canai) and then asked for a takeaway. My leftovers filled up two containers. The whole menu is very well priced especially when you take into consideration the quality of the food!

Spent a few years in Brunei as a kid in the 80's, going absolutely nuts on roti's (Malaysian flat bread). Have eaten 1000's since but not many over the years, have made the grade. Delighted to let you know, that Roti Road gets 5 stars! Great Roti, great food, super quick service and lovely staff! Pricing is comparable for 2019.

Have passed on my love of roti to the kids and Roti Road is the perfect place to go and watch them go nuts!

Delicious Malaysian food with good portion size. However their sambal could be spicier instead of being just sweet

I love the food here. It's a while range of umami to sweet as a flavour that I noticed here in their items. Good spot as well in Footscray that is near and close to roads and public transport.

First time Uber Eats delivery, thanks to Gagan for that. Had the Stir Fried Beef & Vegetables and the Beef Hor Fun. I have never had such soft meat. Melt in your mouth type of food. It was just incredible. Looking forward to having it again. Yum and thank you

I would highly recommend this place.
The beef rendang has a wonderful combination of coconut which tastes really fresh with a little bit of heat. It is reasonably priced.

Mee goreng was tasty and came in a reasonable portion. Spiced perfectly and served filled with a good amount of ingredients and not just noodle. 4/5

Nasi lemak was very disappointing. The 2 main elements, the rice and the sambal chili, were abysmal. The rice wasn’t sufficient flavoured. Missing the pandan leaf flavour and could use more coconut. The chili was extremely sweet. More of a sweet sauce than a sambal chili. The chicken berempah (fried chicken) was tasty and oddly the star of the dish. It appears that dish has been westernized which is very disappointing. 1/5

Service was substandard. Staff seemed preoccupied with their own agenda chatting, discussing and laughing away instead of keeping alert to serve the customers. Furthermore when asked if they had a spicier chili to replace the sweet sambal, they provided me with hainanese chicken rice chili without explaining what it was, and ultimately made the dish worse. 1/5

Would possibly get takeaway mee goreng in the future if I was desperately craving some Malaysian food, but unlikely to return to dine-in in the establishment.

And Amazing! Second time back here and it was so satisfying! Clean and lovely interior. We had the laksa, fried rice and deep fried tofu which is my new favourite now?

Provide complete Malaysian style food, anyway if you don't like sweet or spicy food please ask before ordering

A dish I ordered looked very different from the photo in the menu. Tofu was heavily battered and the thick batter destroyed the light texture of tofu. They offered a different dish to replace with and I appreciated that. The restaurant used to serve a variety of high quality food but now there aren't many to choose from. I was looking for a restaurant for a big event but I have to look elsewhere now.

Very poor service. And the waitress not friendly a bit rude especially waitress name Anna.she should receive award for being rude.thank you roti road. I'm your regular customer from highpoint shopping center. Footscray branch just disappoint me today.thanks again.

An excellent spot for authentic Malaysia food! Located in the heart of Footscray, Roti Road delivers on all fronts - friendly service, great atmosphere, and delicious food. The Roti which was served to me quick and hot was flavourful and filling, and the satay chicken on the side a great accompaniment. The prices are very reasonable and you will not be dissaponted with the food on offer.

Excellent service and food, the staff is friendly and accomadating the malaysian coffee and the banana split were beautifull to finish off with.

Unfortunately we were left hungry after over an hour waiting for our main meals, after a nibble on sickeningly sweet satay entree. We were told twice that our bbq chicken was being made and then after an hour, another waitress told us the kitchen lost the ticket. We were not offered any kind of coverage of our drinks or discount. We left with no food. Terrible service. Won't be back.
