Nice ambience restaurant with friendly service locating at a small shopping areas, clean and easy access.

But the food was not as expected. Chicken wings smelled funny and didn't taste good. Burger is too expensive.
Also the door is really irritating, it doesn't close by it self. It is left open for the cold air to come in. Would not recomend sitting near the table next to door.

Not even close to what I ordered! Burrito was stuffed with baby spinach leaves? How is that even remotely Mexican?

Welcoming staff, nice restaurant, tasty food. I loved the paella and the cocktails. Highly recommended.

Staff were really lovely. Food was honestly the worst Mexican I have had to date. Ordered a chicken salad expecting it to be a nice fillet - and was given chicken that was the consistency of tuna/chicken in a can. Anyone who says this place is good has no concept of nice food. If you open a restaurant you need to simply, do better.

This was q great place. Staff were friendly food looked and taste delicious. A big variety on the menu. We will come back here again. Hopefully soon! So many lovely sounding distes on the menu. My daughter had the churros. They taste great too

Thought the food was pretty average to be honest and especially for the price. I had the fajitas which was very salty. My partner had the Chili con carne which was pretty bland. Disappointing overall, maybe we had a bad night. Might try again as is so close.

We had Beef Fajitas and Seafood Burito.
The beef was a lot, tho only 3 wraps
The seafood burrito was our favorite. I could taste the scallop sauce. They gave plenty of seafood too (fish, scallop, and prawn)
Price was expensive, portion was pretty good, place felt more like casual but nice.

Tried to make a group booking on a weekday (non-public holiday) and was told we had to pay $25/head upfront. Warning for anyone else who is thinking of making a group booking here.

Partner and I had our valentines dinner here and it was a very pleasant experience! The restaurant gave us some flowers for the occasion. All the food was amazing and the drinks hit the spot!

Terrible food. So far from real Mexican you should save your money and eat McDonalds. At last the fast good joints don't charge through there nose. This place is a joke and way overpriced for the terrible excuse for food that is served. Very regrettable meal. DO NOT COME HERE EVER

Terrible service. Staff got our order wrong and refused to correct it. Steer clear of the bar as it is very overpriced. We ordered a margarita jug for $70. You would think for this price it would contain plenty of tequila but you would be wrong as we were. Never going back. Save your money and get a better experience at Nachos Cantina Mt Waverley if you want Mexican.

Can't speak to the actual food as I never got the chance to sample it.

Ordered $70+ worth of food from here via UberEATS and after around one hour of waiting I get a notification saying the restaurant has cancelled my order.

So no food plus the joy of having to wait 2-3 business days for the pending charge from Uber to be returned to me.

First and last time ordering from this restaurant.

Do not order from here. It took two hours for my food to arrive and when it did, it was cold and soggy.

A great, relaxed place to enjoy a Mexican meal and a few drinks. The margaritas are top notch, both classic lime and the mango are favs! Jo manages the restaurant and was amazing when we recently had a large birthday party. Highly recommend the Burwood restaurant for the ambiance, fajitas, burritos and chimichangas.

I was really excited to see vegan options on the menu, I ordered the nachos, jackfruit tacos, bean and veg tacos and street style corn. The nachos and jackfruit tacos were the only thing that came out vegan, the rest of the items came out not vegan and when I told the waitress she was really unimpressed with me and didn’t seem bothered and wasn’t apologetic. She tried to undermine my ordering and to top it off my jackfruit tacos had no jackfruit in them

Ordered the chips, 2 burritos and the corn, was absolutely blown away by how nice everything was!

Great food, atmosphere and drinks - both alcoholic and non-alcoholic (an amazing tequila bar). Looking forward to dining in again soon:)
