Rosa Mexicano

This place is a good option if you are vegetarian/vegan. The staff was clear in communicating and checking for us if their cheese was vegetarian. Their quantity and quality of food was great. Wish the pricing was a bit lower.

Not what I expected, a pretty sterile atmosphere for having usurped the the Freda Kalo persona. Apart from the templated franchise artwork and decor, it doesn't feel very Mexican. Maybe some actual Mexi/Latin music would help.

Really yummy Mexican food suitable for vegetarians and non-vegetarians. Good selection of non-alcoholic cocktails. Service was friendly. Only downside is that it's pretty loud in there so not a great place to have a conversation.

Hope your service is better than you arrogant sister restaurant in Frankston? Booked a table last night online and received a confirmation only to arrive and they cancelled the booking. No phone call no explanation and no sorry. Tell your lady manger to move onto KFC as that’s about you level of customer service.

We had the quesadilla, chilli scramble and bruschetta. Was flavourless, small portions and a rushed environment. Not to mention overpriced for what you’re given. Not a great experience. At least the drinks were decent.

Absolutely love this place! This was my 2nd visit and it was somehow better than the 1st. The food is so flavourful and the service is fantastic. Our server was Sena this afternoon, and we loved her, probably the best hospitality service we’ve received so far.

Not authentic Mexican due to lack of fresh ingredients and flavour. Pour some cheese and sour cream over it and it will right. Felt gross after eating here!

Great Mexican food in South Melbourne. The menu has a good variety for meat eaters and vegetarians alike. The meals are reasonably priced and justify a visit when it comes quality, size and taste. The drinks are pricy; some of the ones we had were very nice and others not so much. I would definitely recommend a visit but the bill will creep north if you have a few drinks.

Food is great and the customer service is even better! Honestly best restaurant experience I’ve had since moving here. The owner is so lovely, really made us feel at home and well looked after. I would highly recommend this place.

Had the classic chicken chipotle burrito. Amazing food washed down with a Mexican cola. Will be back tomorrow.

The food is truly delicious and the prices quite reasonable. There's a variety of options to choose from on the menu. The staff is friendly and the service is fast. You should definitely dine there!

Very disappointing.
Cold, unwelcoming, has so much potential but just poor management.
Expensive poorly made margaritas, food had no Mexican flavor, I spent three weeks in Mexico, this isn't even TexMex.

Wish I never came here but so glad I know to never come back. The corn chips were very stale and way too hard, I asked for all the vegan options and cheese and still got all the dairy sauces on each dish. The original taco belongs somewhere in hell. For $85 I should have gone to mesa verde. Could be a great local spot but unfortunately isn’t worth it. Also canned tomato salsa is not okay anywhere especially for a Mexican restaurant.

Food was good, spicy margaritas were fab but there was just no atmosphere in the restaurant at all and we all felt very rushed to leave the premises

One of my favorite Mexican restaurants in Melbourne! Generous portions, diverse menu (including good selection of drinks and dessert) and super courteous staff. This one is always a great dining experience. A lot of good vegetarian options as well. Would highly recommend

An absolute Mexican gem! Loved every dish we has here. The pricing is decent but the portion sizes is great. The taste is really good and authentic and I'd 100% recommend this place to anyone. Will definitely come back for more.
