Rolling Pin Pies & Cakes

Best pies. Sampled the pepper steak, lamb and rosemary and scallop pie all fantastic. Great staff 5+!

Staff are courteous, no fault with food, made 2 cakes for my mother's 101 birthday everyone raved over them.

Awesome, had a top notch Steak Pie. And my Wife had a delicious sandwich. Prices are fare, but the quality is GR8. Staff are enjoyable to talk to and will help out with what you need

Visited here a few times over the years and always a great place for pies, cake and coffee
Can get very busy during lunch time or on a fine & sunny weekend/ school holidays/ long weekend
Take a number and you can get great service with a smile

Worth the drive for a pie, vanilla slice or custard tart.
The pie was not too hot and didn't fall apart whilst trying to finish it.
It was a nice flavour and had nice pastry. Reasonably priced.
The custard for the tart and vanilla slice tasted very fresh.
Have been back a couple of times since.

Just okay. Despite apparently having award winning pies i found these to be very average. Not bad at all, but just not meeting the benchmark of "famous" as their sign states. Pepper pie ($6.40!) lacked any kick.really just an afterthought. Sausage roll bland and pastry generally hard on both rather than light and buttery. Nice range of cakes and slices though.
