46A good lunch spot at the mid point of our ride. Many of the special treats were sold out by the time we arrived, but there was still something to please a hungry cyclist.
Don't know what all the big deal is with these pies, I had steak n mushroom and I thought it was pretty ordinary, I have had better. Since when is a pie a square pastry than round.
This is for the 2021 best seafood pie award winner - who was on that judging panel? Insipid curry without richness or depth of flavour. How it beat out Country Cobb Bakery I’ll never know.
These pies have the best pastry! Oh and the sweets in store are amazon, every kids dream. We went later in the day so there was no line - had the surf and turf pie which is a must try and the plain beef. Will make this a regular stop for lunch when in Queenscliff

Great bakery to sit down and enjoy a cuppa or have a pie, pastie or sausage roll. Has salad rolls to choose from or one of the pastries they make. Staff are great and friendly.

Jumbo steak pie 2020 winner was delish but how many pies were tasted in a year of lockdown
Went on a Sunday for brunch from Melbourne. Wanted to try the curried scallops and garlic chicken but both were sold out.
Tried mushroom truffle, chicken, vegetarian, surf amd turf, all good. Not many gluten free options, bought a rocky road which was GF, overall satisfying.
Attended the Rolling Pin on my visit to Queenscliff. The best chunky jumbo pie EVER. Had a French vanilla slice with my coffee to say it was scrumptious is an understatement. Simply the best.

Quality has deteriorated considerably. Choice of bread products is minimal. Queenscliff needs a "bakery".

Great food, only drawback was having to have 3 attempts at getting clean cutlery that didn't have dried food on it

Had the surf and turf pie - winner of 2021 Australian pie competition. Was surprisingly good. The jumbo beef pie was alright - pretty average for a good ol aussie pie.

Cheese and tomato toasty. 10 times better than I could make myself. The coffee was, well just amazing and then the lemon tart a definite must.
