34Amazing staff from roll CBW, VIC, they made a mistake but admit it, even send a note saying about the mistake and send a free drink. Amazing service and amazing gesture from the staff and team member
I had some lunch here and the service was really good and efficient.
My lemon beef rice paper roll was absolutely delicious, it was fresh and yummy. My prawn crackers were a suprise addition and really tasty.
My poached chicken salad was mainly red and green cabbage was whilst it tasted ok, it was really dry and uneventful. I didn’t like it that much and the sauce which I really needed was sooo sweet that some hours afterwards I could still taste sugar in my mouth.
I’d definitely go back for the ride paper rolls and the prawn crackers hahaha.
Food was prepared nicely and arrived hot. However they put FIVE SPICE in the beef Pho. It tasted disgusting. Please change the soup base recipe for the pho!
The most pathetic bao I have ever tasted. No chicken, messy presentation.yakkkjk cold. I will never order from here
My God! The salad, unreal! The dressing unreal! The chicken unreal! The rice paper roll was fresh AF. Recommend for something quick but also satisfying and healthy.
Quite possibly the worst Banh Mi I've ever had. Stingy on toppings (not just meat; coriander, green onion, pate, mayo). It was essentially a LOT OF CARROT AND A LITTLE PORK roll. And speaking of the rolls; undersized.
The most expensive Bahn mi and also the least satisfying.
Not bad, except I had no crackling as others have mentioned and just felt small and a bit stingy with the toppings. (Except carrot)
Hard pass in the future
Ordered through the app. Expected them to call out my order like every other customer there. Instead had to ask the cashier if my order was ready and was told I need to ask someone else if it was ready. Told by cashier that I don't need to be annoyed that I need to ask for my food after it was sitting on the counter for 10 minutes.
Nice place with tables and chairs under outdoor heaters. Very busy at 12. Food not so authentic, compared to traditional Vietnamese resuraunts.
The worst place don't go there if you are gluten free they treat you with hostility and punish you by making you wait for 20 minutes before cancelling your order without a single word of apology
Absolute rubbish! Ordered 3 Banh Mi's and we felt utterly sick after one bite. Never go here for a Banh Mi. Authentic places are much better
I couldn’t avoid it for ever, and I knew they would take card, so here I am about to be “roll’d.
The blue rectangle of plastic I have been awarded for waving away my $9.40 explodes in a spasm of blue LEDs and vibration leaving half a dozen patrons with no doubt that it was my turn to proceed to the counter and face my Pho.
Roll’d represents the inevitable homogenisation of the Vietnamese food explosion that has reached a critical mass in Melbourne. The unholy spawn of marketing team and venture capital firm could not be further from the soul of vietnamese street food. The franchise has 18 locations (7 in Melbourne CBD) and is a handy McDonalds alternative for those seeking a cultural dalliance with their junk food.
Bear in mind while I spit venom on Roll’d like the son of a 4 generation vietnamese street food vendor with the worlds oldest Pho recipe, in reality I work in marketing and have never been to Vietnam.
Hyperbole aside it lived up the low expectations, thin stock, stained spanish onion and a sparse (but edible) allotment of beef. The real disappointment however was the surprising beer flavour that accompanied the massive amount of noodles (and every burp I produced for the rest of the day) that I can only attribute to poor food management practices.
I ended up drowning the concoction in the little tub of Hoisin that the girl at the counter offered me on pickup, and then abandoned the whole sorry affair.
A good exercise in brand-market fit has made for poorly executed purveyor of traditional fare.

Terrible, simple Roast Pork and Cracking order.yet you mess it up. No crackling. Why on earth do you continue to make it, rather than say, hey sorry we have no more crackling left. That's the whole God Damn reason I went. Customer service is shocking, save your taste buds and go somewhere else. Useless idiots.
