Justin Stirling is a hair-whisperer! And Marisa nailed my colour touch up and style. They were accommodating at having to split up the 2 appointments. I Highly recommend Rokk Ebony.

Worst colour I've had from a rokk ebony salon - something went wrong with the application and all I received was a bunch of excuses for the execution. I've never had issues with colour at any of their other locations and have always walked out very satisfied so unfortunately those excuses are just unacceptable. 2 stars only because the staff are friendly but otherwise they've completely executed below standard to other rokk ebony salons.

Very professional establishment, I’ve been coming here for years the colourists and stylists are first class exceptionally talented. They are knowledgeable and the place has a friendly vibe it’s busy without being too noisy highly recommend. Locator for all ages it’s trendy but you don’t have to be trendy to go there.

Very disappointed. The most expensive hairdresser around but this was no guarantee for quality. Very bad colour job but no accountability taken. Never going back!

They cancelled my appointment via text message. Said they will be sure to contact me and reschedule. Never heard back.

I needed my highlights fixed after getting them done elsewhere and the result being very different to what I wanted. I was cared for by Guiseppe and OH. MY GOD did he fix things. (Answer: yes). Our consultation was thorough and I felt he really understood what I wanted. After it was all done I couldn't believe how good it looked, it was just what I had been hoping for. He was also very gentle and had a lovely presence.highly recommend Guiseppe and Rokk Ebony South Melbourne.

My boyfriend always gets his haircut here. Last time I joined him and the receptionist is very rude. Not polite at all. Nevertheless I booked an appointment for myself because of this place’s prestige. We went today to re schedule it and again the same impolite girl being mean to my boyfriend. This must stop and we aren’t coming back.

Best haircut and colour I’ve ever had. They listened to me and ran with it, my colour is amazing and the style exceeded my idea thanks to Patrick. The staff are all really lovely as well, highly recommend, and I’ll definitely be back as a regular!

Made a booking in store. A week later when I arrived for my haircut, I was told they no longer had a record of the booking. No real effort was made to find alternatives, other than offering a booking a month away.

Had my crazy, coarse, curls cleverly cut by Mark today. This guy can cut curls, not in a formulaic cutting by numbers way that I have found in other salons. He has a real understanding of the texture of curls and that each head of curls is intrinsically different. Cutting curls is clearly a creative exercise. He listened when I explained what I wanted. And when I questioned something he was doing because it didn't fit with my initial idea, he demonstrated, by lifting the hair and showing me the consequences, and why it wouldn't work with my hair. My hair looks fabulous. Also. I am immune compromised and very particular about social distancing and mask wearing. This salon got it right in every way.

Katie is the most professional and caring hairdresser, I’ve ever been too. She makes it worth the long drive into South Melbourne. I wouldn’t go to anyone else. 10/10 recommend her for foils. Thank you Rokk Ebony South Melbourne, it’s always an pleasure.

I have been going to the South Melbourne salon for years, but after today I will never return. Totally wasted my time, leaving me sitting at the basin for almost 1 hr.because the stylist wasn't ready to cut my hair. I am usually done with a cut and colour in under 2 hrs. It had been nearly 2 hours and they hadn't even started cutting my hair.
So disrespectful to be wasting peoples time. I ended up leaving with just the colour and wet hair that I had to dry off at home.
I'm not sure what went wrong or if there has been a change in who books clients, but it's not good enough to waste people's days and I won't be back

I visited Rokk Ebony for a colour and cut today. I cannot even begin to express how pleased I am with the results. The colour stylist Patrick is amazing. Super professional, extremely talented and just all all round great person to deal with.
And I am really pleased with my cut by stylist Skot. I have thick curly hair which requires some expertise to cut. Again super professional, he listened to what I wanted and cut it perfectly.
Its rare for me to leave a salon after a cut feeling happy.
I highly recommend this salon and both stylists. But it was clear from my observations today that ALL the stylists provide an exceptional service and equally high standard styling.

Highly recommend Rokk Ebony South Melbourne 100%! The team were absolutely fantastic, I felt so well looked after and am really loving my hair after all the awesome treatment. My cousin recommended that I come here and I am so glad I finally did. Special mention to Scott who restyled my hair, Ebony did some amazing colour work, Patrick for colouring advice, and Justin for helping me on the phone. And Thank you to everyone who supported them! Recently got my colour done at Rokk Ebony South Melbourne with Katie, she took the time to chat with me with what I wanted before our service began made me feel very comfortable and she was very professional with the way she explained what she was going to do with my hair and the colour was FANTASTIC!

She did a GREAT job not just my colour but also my blow wave too!
The whole salon team just had a very professional and caring vibe to it which is hard to find these days;
Even my basin time with tania was brilliant, very professional and she was reassuring me if I needed anything and whether I was comfortable throughout my time in the basin room and GREAT massage too!
