I’ve eaten here a couple of times and always a great experience. Food is delicious and very good value. Go the paella!

After long time we had our dinner here.
Its just really amazing. Loved the Garlic and herb bread and Chips are so great, I do t hesitate to say they are the best.
Only restaurant I could find serving Veg Lasagne which is so nice.

Nice ambience here and a good crowd, a good venue for special occasions and birthdays. I just went for a meal out with an old neighbour. I had the vegetarian lasagne, which I highly recommend in and of itself, however I didn't feel it was worth the $28 I paid. Also, I was charged $9 for an orange juice which I felt was quite excessive for what it was. Because of the high prices, I didn't end up tipping, which I normally like to do. Not a place I would go often for a full meal due to the prices, definitely a treat or special occasion. I took away two stars as the prices are inflated. Other than that this place would be five stars.

Food was great but the service by Jacopo was even better. He remembered our names and made every effort to make our experience as enjoyable as possible.

The biggest plant based vegan menu I've come across. Delicious! And our waiter Conor was excellent. Funny, courteous, helpful. Thanks Rococo for a great night.

As NSW visitors to Hawthorn Rococo was recommended by my friend's son and his wife. We did not have a booking but The Maitre D was able to offer us a table outside as they were so busy however this was fine by us. Very quickly they identified an inside table to which we then moved. The service continued to be excellent and the food also. The restuarant was buzzing! The food we ordered was all delicious, in particular the pasta dish-vegetarian-which was a standout for me. Cooked in authentic italian style, it was a very generous serving, some of which went with me in a 'doggy bag'. I consider the pricing also very reasonable and we enjoyed a very nice bottle of wine.well, two actually.

We visited last Thursday! The food was soooo perfect, really great service! Our waiter was so lovely too- I didn’t get his name but he had a slight accent! We made some jokes to him about wanting a warm coffee. Hopefully he sees this and remembers us! Side note. The coffee was perfect and the dessert, I recommend the fudge brownie.
There is an entire vegan and vego menu, with such a range of options and GF too for my fellow vegans and gluten intolerant peeps!

Everyone enjoyed their meals. Honestly it was hard deciding because there were a lot of great options. There was a really nice vibe in there.

Lovely Italian restaurant, staff are really friendly. The menu is huge with so many options you're likely to spend a solid 20 minutes figuring out what you want to eat! There is also a vegan menu with almost as many options for all your dietary needs. Highly recommended for a romantic date or a semi formal party!

I came here today with my parents, auntie, uncle and grandparents to celebrate my grandfathers birthday, overall its amazing. Friendly staff, Authentic and delicious food, a aestheticly pleasing dining area. One of the waitress spilled a bottle of coke on my mother but instantly apologized, cleaned up the mess and gave us free drinks (coffee, tea, etc.) to make up for the spill. A gem of a restaurant!

I had dinner with a few Thai friends last night, the food was absolute fantastic especially and yes it was the best Italian foods I ever had (Fresh and good quality of ingredients).

We ordered a range of food from pizza, pasta, char-grilled squid and dessert. Stand out was the vegetable lasagna. Wjat makes me remove a star is that both gnocchi and linguini noodles were not al dente. Flavor-wise it was very good.

Pricey but worth it for events where you need the luxurious experience- their cocktails are amazing and the waiters are super friendly

Food here is consistent when you want a decent pasta or pizza. The grilled seafood pasta is my go to dish and they have a huge range of wines and drinks to go with your meal. Great for group or family dining. Can be a bit hard to get the attention of staff as they always seem understaffed and you can be left waving your hand in the air for 5 minutes until someone sees you, but when they do they are super friendly.

Excellent range of vegetarian in the menu. Food is tasty and well-presented. Nice ambience and service. One of the best italian in the area.
Parking is challenging. So it helps yo arrive early.

Great food, friendly service and comfortable ambience. Always drove by wondering why it was perpetually full, until we tried it.

You can taste the freshness in the ingredients and the dishes are made with care and passion. Definitely one to try if you’re craving an Italian meal.

Absolutely without a doubt this should be their benchmark restaurant. By far the best service, quality of food and atmosphere. I drive from St. Kilda to Hawthorn, and it’s well worth it.

Food good but service extremely slow to disappointment. 20 minutes to take drinks only after getting their attention

Very surprising venue. We were looking for sunday lunch and found this gem. Great food and friendly wait staff. We booked through a separate booking agency but the booking didnt show up. None the less we got a table.
