Rococo Glenferrie Road

Upon entering Rococo, the large windows immediately caught my attention, allowing plenty of natural light into the restaurant. The bar area was situated right next to the kitchen, and the bartenders served both the patrons at the counter and those in the dining room.
The dining area had a clean, Italian family-style ambiance. Our server, who appeared to be raw, was a bit shy and nervous, and unfortunately to whom did not return to our table after took our orders.

However, the kitchen impressed us with its impressive execution of every dish we ordered.
*Despite this, the service team on the floor seemed to struggle during busy periods, highlighting the need for more experienced staff to handle high volume times.

You can’t beat Rococo for variety and fantastic quality. I had the ravioli with goats cheese last night and it was simple but delicate and full of flavour. My husband had the carbonara - which never disappoints here. Just a perfect balance of flavours and not heavy handed. Great atmosphere and attentive but non intrusive service. Oh, nearly forgot to mention the cocktails! Something for everyone and always pack a punch.

Rococo has a overall very nice Atmosphere to dine in. However the food is probably not to my taste the pizza come out with the base quite wet and soft and the spaghetti it’s a bit salty for a tomato base.

We arrived at 8.15pm on a Tuesday. We were greated and shown to our table. Nice decor with a warm feel. Outdoor dining is also available. We were served quickly and water brought to our table. Menu has a great variety of Italian dishes and pizzas. Prices are reasonable. We had Risotto seafood Paella and Fettucini Carbonara. Servings were of a good size and meals arrived in good time. Our meals were great with a good mix of seafood in the paella and the carbonara had a great amount of pancetta. Both dishes were lovelly. Great service, great food and reasonable prices. Would highly recommend Rococo

Lovely service, great food and ambience. The vegetarian lasagna was unexpectedly my most favourite dish! Cocktails are also so delicious!

Been to this spot on many occasions. Meals are always consistent and of the highest quality. Highly recommended. Usually have great service. You never feel rushed here. Jacopo is always fantastic and makes one feel welcome. Will be back soon.

Excellent experience. Our host Jacapo had a great energy, was very kind and considerate of all our requests and the food was delicious.
Large range of vegan dishes which is nice to have options as well.

Rococo has broad menu options with
a plethora of pizza and pasta options. The food is consistently above average however the service is unpredictable - do not be hungry or in a hurry for another engagement, it’s not unusual to wait 45 minutes between being seated and serving. Still a recommended venue.

Charging service fee for credit card usage is ridiculous.a business of this size charging extra did not make any sense at all

The food was very good. The service was quite good.
The restaurant floor has some unexpected steps within the dining area that can catch you out even though they are lit.
Parking was ok on the side street on the weekend but may be problematic at other times.

The food was fantastic and the customer service from all the staff was excellent, will definitely come back again and recommend to all my friends

Well, well, well, what a great time we had on Saturday night. Every time we dine at this fantastic establishment, we're guaranteed a good experience. The service and advice given on dishes by the staff is nothing short of first-class. This review would not be justified if we don't mention young Connor, who runs the floor like he's been doing it for years and years; with his great sense of knowledge he knows how to make you feel so welcomed, whatever he's getting paid is not enough (cheers Connor)

Went to dinner there tonight. Food was exquisite (thank you to the cooking staff). Service was fabulous. But a pity, the first night after lockdown ending (28/07/2021) ended, 2 of the 3 table service staff were wearing their masks under their nose. [I will delete this review if the mask practice changes, and yes, I would hate to wear a mask all night at work, but I would also hate to catch Covid by going out to dinner. ]

Wonderful lunch here. I had the Mushroom Gnocchi which was fabulous and my wife had Fettuccini Bolognese and said it was one of the tastiest she had had. The staff were very attentive, definitely we will be back to Rococo.
