This is one of my absolute favourite lunch spots in Brighton. Fantastic food and service that can’t be beat. Highly recommended.

Had our usual lunch today at Rock and Salt Bay Street Brighton. Cannot recommend this business high enough. Food quality and service are exceptional. Lucy, our waitress today epitomised the excellent standards we are use to. Thank you for making our day. The steak sandwich and Calamari were delicious. Patricia Draper. Brighton.

Best Brekky in Brighton! Eggs Benedict was amazing. Turkish bread was so fresh, smashed avo was even better juices on point Aiden our server was amazing and pet friendly highly recommend!

Ordered the combo box for one. Perfect serving size. Delicious fish and the calamari rings were HUGE and delicious.

Fantastic service with nice atmosphere, dessert portion is quite big, 2 people sharing still so full.
Would like to come back and try dinner in the future.

There is a 2 hour free parking nearby, is good for people who want to give it a go

Had a pleasant lunch, attentive service and nice meals.
Can be hit and miss though with the food in the past! Although there are 3 chefs on, they struggle serving food in a reasonable time frame.

Most of the young wait staff are friendly, but the manager is rude and thinks he's better than other people.

Special evening, celebrating our anniversary, wait staff were wonderful, food delicious and a very warm ambience. Dessert lemon, lime and pear tart delicious. We will return

Fantastic food, I had the Calabrese pizza, followed by a Chocolate Volcano which was a good price and really filling.

The food was good but the service poor. They forgot my tea and served the wrong eggs. Had to wait while everyone else was eating.

I always choose this Cafe for my business meetings many because if it's too noisy inside you can sit outside under the heaters on the footpath. The staff are friendly and attentive, the menu extensive and well priced and you can park in the side street. All in all this Cafe is a winner.

Two parents and two kids, minimal wait time and very nice food. Pretty pricey, (2 burgers, 2 steak sandwiches, 4 drinks and a plate to share was ~ $140) and a bit noisy (wasn't very busy) but nice spot. Would go again.

We had dinner here Friday night. We had mushroom risotto chilli mussels. The specials eggplant lasagne home made vegetable soup. We all thoroughly enjoyed every mouthful. The waiter was very attentive. Nice atmosphere. Every thing arrived hot from the kitchen. I would recommend this cafe to everyone who just enjoys each other’s company. You could hear each other’s conversations. A major factor in my books.

In the middle of Brighton this place needs a update- average service and attitude and food.can't believe it has survived!
