This shop is a hidden gem with a great variety of British foods not seen anywhere else. The pork pies looked amazing! I bought some streaky bacon which worked out at $38 per kilo, quite expensive I thought, its prepacked and not marked with weight or price.

Amazing food, but even better people who are friendly and knowledgeable and always there to help.
Well worth the hour drive to get our care packages!

The pork pies, scotch eggs and black pudding are as legit as they come in here. Tastes just like home. Wonderful. Haven't tried any of their pies and pasties yet but they also look amazing. Also have all the English crisps and chocolate. Nothing beats some bacon fries and a wispa!

Very impressive little place. Loved the black pudding & mini pork pies. Unfortunately for me I’m from West Melbourne and only get the chance to head down there once every few months, or else I’d be there every week. See you soon

Good pies and scotch eggs. Maybe consider removing some of the quaint decor that is eveywhere to make it more inviting for ppl passing by, also doesn't seem very hygienic.

If you want authentic British isles butchery products especially sausages and fresh pork pies (my favourite choices) you can’t go anywhere else. The fact you add a smattering of goods that are impossible to find elsewhere from beers to marmite chips.this should be a pilgrimage to any serious foodie or home sick great Britton.

This place is so nice. Ive never been to England but I imagine this is what their butcher would be like. Great selection of foods. Ive been told Robs burger is a must!

Hard to spot, easy to miss, a visit to Rob's British Butchery at 177 Lonsdale St Dandenong should be on your bucket list. Mouthwatering morsels everywhere you look. Smallgoods heaven.
For me however, Rob's kings of the roost are the pork pies. Most likely the best pork pies in Melbourne. Perhaps the best in Australia, Possibly the best in the known universe outside Britgolia.
The pastry is PERFECTION. Makes a supermarket pork pie seem like it's encased in greasy stodge' And just in case you don' know. You eat 'em COLD.

Exceptionally friendly. Key differences are: the pork pies taste like a real English pork pie should. The filling and jelly are perfect and the pastry is to die for.

The pastry always tastes fresh and crisp, never that on the shelf for a week limpness available everywhere else. Rob also advised me I could freeze them, preferably on the day they were made. His advice delivers. Try his Wife’s Eccles cakes. Better than any I have had around Eccles (now absorbed into greater Manchester).

We read the reviews before coming here. As they were so good decided to drive into Dandenong. Saw the Sausages & decided at $22 a kg it was too pricey. We buy lovely sausages at $10kg. The Cornish pastie had Short Pastry & as you cut it, it crumbled all over the place, was just average. The Meat pie seemed to have the same pastry instead of Puff Pastry. It was so bland I ate only a little of it. We were very disappointed as we thought they would be something really different. I cannot understand the difference we found to the reviews on here. I am genuinely sorry to write this review but it is an honest one as we found it!

Every Christmas we come here for Gammon joint, Irish black pudding, English pork sausage, Scottish square sausage, monster munch, pork pies and more. Super friendly family business. Absolutely worth the visit if you're missing food from the UK
