Robert Gordon Pottery and Kitchen

Wow, what a disappointment! We received this as a gift six months ago and we’re very excited. We have had a few pieces from Robert Gordon in the past and have been very impressed. This platter has stained irreversibly from multiple contacts with food and fruit. It has now been relegated to a storage box. Once a quality producer of Australian made ceramics has now turned to cheap imports. Please see pictures supplied. The price tag hasn’t even had time to wear off yet. This will inevitably end up as a short-term gain for a long-term loss!

Bought three beautiful pieces which I love. However was really disappointed to see the "Made in China" sticker on the underside after I got them home. I get they're designed here but really thought I was supporting something completely local and Australian made. What a shame.

I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars. We started with pottery painting, perfect as a group event to socialise and paint. The staff were so lovely and helpful. They have plenty of brushes, stamps and lots of different paint colour. Then we looked around the store, items were so cheap to purchase. Food was next level delicious. Had the chilli scrambled eggs and the Asian chicken salad. So yummy. Will definitely be back. Love, love, love this place.

Love coming here. My collection of plates and mugs is growing. When I have friends over they always comment on how lovely my mugs are. Perfect place to buy a gift for mothers day, Christmas or anytime of the year really.

Lovely place to hangout. The cafe made some nice coffee and lovely food too. Staff are really friendly which’s a plus.

Heaven! Love being able to shop their Australian hand made seconds and have a coffee. We go every school holidays and the kids paint a plate or bowl. Such a gem.

What a great Experience from the moment you walk in you are greeted with smile's! And the beautiful site of awesome hand made pottery and a lot of Aussie made items as well. Great job guys

New cafe/restaurant in the Robert Gordon outlet was great with a wide selection of food. Staff were very friendly too. Would be happy to have lunch there again!

A fun couple of hours painting your pottery, where brushes, apron, paints, cups and stencils are provided. You just pick the piece you want to paint and ask one of their friendly and helpful staff for a reference number for invoicing and pickup. Great place to find some gifts and for your home. I do recommend you book in advance during the school holidays. I was lucky to have booked on Saturday for a Wednesday sitting, and when we turned up, it was full of people wanting to paint. It was fun!

I was quite disappointed to discover that a lot of the items are made in China as I thought it was all made in Australia.

Love this pottery. Get there as often as I can. You can paint your own pieces and have them fired ready to be picked up following week.

Factory outlet with a great range of lovely pottery including seconds. There's a cafe inside and all staff are friendly and helpful.

A great place to spend some time being creative and painting your own collection of homewares. Amazing collection of cups, plates, mugs and little sculptures. Prices are reasonable as it includes the item, paint, equipment and glazing. Pakenham is a little far, so I made a trip to Fountain Gate shopping centre afterwards for a quick bite to break up the trip a little. Can't wait to see how my plates and milk jug turned out! (Need to wait 7 to 10 days for glazing).
