Roast'd Chinese BBQ & Duck reviews
50Wait time was 40 mins (barely anyone in the restaurant eating in) for sub par quality of food. I used to enjoy going here but unfortunately the quality of food is now awful. The matcha latte was too sweet, doesn’t look like there was any matcha in it. Don’t waste your money eating here.
Wow I’ve found the key to happiness absolutely amazing food great price and portion if you haven’t tried roast’d I strongly suggest that you do you won’t be disappointed just awesome
On the 7th of may 22, We ordered a hainese chicken and BBQ PORK AND PORK BELLY. The Hainese chicken geeen sauce was far too strong and bitter, never tasted anything like that, the rice only 75 percent cooked. The BBQ pork tasted like microwaved food that you buy at woollies or Coles. Called the guys on duty who confirmed that it was microwaved. They couldn't fool me as i used to be a chef. Don't go there unless you really want to ruin your dinner.
I would like to add that the next day we had their food we ended up pooing all day, lasted for nearly 3 days. Now dear readers you make up your own mind
Roast’d was our favourite local restaurant in the past. The food were amazing. But last night we were not impressed with the quality of food we ordered. The dim sims etc were not nice. The meat was salty and too much corn flour. We enjoyed only the fried rice. The rest were either too cold or too salty. The Banana fritter was also not to the level we used to have. We were all very disappointed with the food. Though a thank you to the waiter as he was fantastic.
This place has vastly improved from my previous bad experience below. Choose the pork belly on rice-crunchy and flavourful. One of the best. Also the best place in town foe the Steamed Ginger Barramundi! I have had this dish a number of times.
We have been there many times both dine in & takeaway, service is awesome & food amazing,
Highly recommend
ONE STAR IS TOO MUCH.
Our order we received was appalling to say the least. Both Mongolian lamb and honey chicken was tasteless, chewy and overcooked. Rang and complained only to have no success with being offered a refund or replacement unless we returned to the restaurant in person after having it delivered.
I would highly NOT RECOMMEND ORDERING from this restaurant. Extremely poor customer service and satisfaction.
I ordered the Mongolian lamb, when it arrived it was only half a small rectangular container, half the meal was missing.
They wouldn’t refund or offer a delivered meal in its place… don’t bother with these people, they’re cutting corners and it isn’t that good anyway.
I have ordered your food from Uber eat and all the foods were yummy but i gave you 3 stars because you missed 1 of my order (even i didn’t order a lot)
Honey chicken was as dry and as tough as an old boot roasted pork was average Very disappointed.
Very tasty food. Planning to go there again with the family. The robotic server 'BellaBot' was eye catching. Dishes are delivered to your table from the kitchen by a robot!
Friendly staff, great food, good prices and loved the robot delivery. Backing up with friends next week.
Ordered the Yum Cha kit for two and added half a dozen BBQ pork bao all for deliveryand home preparation. Lovely dinner, great portion size and good quality food. Would order again.
Nice food. The Nasi Goreng is a standout to me as well as the Red Duck curry. All other duck dishes are very tasty as well as having a great choice on the menu for more assistance asian cuisine.
Hmmmm I really wanted to like this. The chicken spring rolls were delicious and I love a good Pad Kee Mao (drunken noodle) BUT my noodle was a little too salty and oily. I think there's room for improvement. Less in this case is a lot:)
Deserves a 10 star for spicy beef noodle soup.and every item we ordered was perfec.but portion size was small compared to other chinese resturants but hey the quality and taste was awesome.will place my order again tomorrow and thanks for the authentic hot and sour soup.felt like my take away came frome China.love your food
Singapore noodles with roasted pork belly was pretty good. Nasi goreng with beef was tasty but heavy on salt.
Truly awful food. Ordered from menulog. Dumpling pastry was awful, filling was dry and tasteless.
The Beef Rendang tasted of nothing, literally nothing at all. No flavour present and the 'sauce' was some insipid, indescribable combination of old motor oil and dishwater.
It's difficult enough to get joy out of Saturday nights during Melbourne lockdown, so when you order an awful, overpriced dinner such as this it just adds insult to injury.
Food was too oily, even the fried rice was too oily. Ordered fried rice, duck wings, crispy pork (which was not crispy) and loaded fries. Spent over $60 and threw most of it in the bin. Thought with a name like “Roast’d”, it would be like “Wok’d” which we always love. The quality of the food is nothing near! Don’t expect the food to be anything even close to the quality from Wok’d. Definitely disappointed from the food.
