Riviera Cafe and Restaurant

The food was beautiful! We had banquet number 2. I'm not usually interested in seafood but the fish was so good!

VACCINES? I was amazed that with a restaurant full of nearly 200 people, not one person (including my table) was asked for proof of double vaccination.
No wonder our infection numbers in Melbourne never seem to go down!

This restaurant was my go to place with the family, but unfortunately few months ago the service started to become very bad, I would wait on the table to be served over 20 min, and lately the food quantity has decreased dramatically, I used to purchase mix grill and it used to serve two people, it doesn’t anymore, I came few days ago and the food was terrible, Homous/ rice tasted bad, it’s upsetting that the service is going bad it was my favourite restaurant and it no longer is, it’s expensive for what you get.

Worst experience and terrible customer service, shame it's in such a beautiful location. Couldn't even get served on a quiet night, ended up walking out. Won't be back

Food was cold.too loud music, too crowdy.the place is serene otherwise. Wud be an excellent experience in relatively silent hours.

The location is great, nice but the price is over. Fresh juice is $12 and chips is $8. Small coffee is $5, It is incredible. I order mix dips is $21 and mashawi grill is $50.

Service was alright, now food: cheese sambousk, fatoush, bab ghanouj were ok, Batata Khizbara has a smell of socks and tastes bad, wings were dry and has a bad smell too, Sujek and Makanek were very fatty, so basically for next time if you wanna go have fatoush chips and humms and thats it

Great location, exotic Lebanese foods, spectacular lakeview and great portion for every dish we ordered. We spent 180$ for four people and had to take home half of our foods in four large containers. Well done to the owners and all staff. Thank you, we will come back.

The chicken skewers were all half raw, when we told the waiter he did not apologise. Not worth the money way too overpriced & service is ridiculous. Wouldn't come here again!

River side place with good range of shisha flavours. Foods not really great, served some burnt skewers too. Nice customer service

Decent place, nice views of the giant shipping boats coming through - entertained the kids for hours. Food was good too.

Mashallah the best place to have iftar the service the food the atmosphere everything was 10/10 to much food was served with a lot of assortments I highly recommend this restaurant

We came in for dinner with my family as we always come to the restaurant enjoying the view and food and great management service, we order 13 banquet and we realised there is no chicken wings we called the manager and she ran to the kitchen and a minut later one of the kitchen staff came out to check our table as if he doesn’t believe us, and we never received it.the food was very bland no flavour and we normally like Mansaf we never received it look like the quality of food going down and not generous with their food, I’m sorry that effected us from going back to the restaurant as we felt we lying and uncomfortable.

I come to riviera regularly, its a great place to come with friends and family. The food is absolutely delicious and the staff is very friendly with gorgeous views of the maribyrnong river definitely my favourite restaurant to come too!

Terrible Service. Will never go back. We made a booking for Mother’s Day 3 weeks in advance. Once we arrived we where asked if we where fasting for Ramadan, we said no and we where advised that they had given out table away and where told we would either have to wait for a table to become available or come back another night. As the other customers needed the table as they where breaking there fast. We where discriminated because we are Christian. They didn’t care that we had a booking. Would never recommend.

I came here this evening for iftar with my mother; and MshaAllah, it was AMAZING!

Well organised with a great selection of food, drinks and dessert, and a wonderful set up.

It was perfect for Ramadan, mshaAllah; baraka Allah feekom!

I booked for 10 people and the food was not even enough for 4 people.we got way over charged. I went there the 1st time and got disappointed then after a week I went again was not enough food for every one.big rip off.they basically take money for nothing
