24They robbed us. They did not inform us that the discount was only for subscribers, and when we wanted to return the purchases, they refused to return the money to us, and this is not fair.
Took my money for an online order almost 3 weeks ago. Was given a false tracking number that doesn't exist and nobody will reply to emails or answer the phone. Have reported to consumer affairs, stay away unless you want to be robbed
Possible the worst online shopping experience I have had in years. I placed my order 12 days ago and still not even an update. I called and the order has not even been picked yet. Awful awful service.
If I could give less stars I would. Worst online shopping experience EVER! It has been 12 days since placing my order. I called their "Customer Service" to cancel the order and was told that I could not cancel my order until it had been more than 14 days without the item being dispatched! According to the "Customer Service" rep my only options were to wait the 14 days and cancel if still not dispatched or receive the item and send it back for a refund. Seems like a complete waste of my time and theirs as I will be returning the item and NEVER purchasing from Rivers again. Not surprising this business is struggling.
I only realised when I got home that one item I purchased had scanned at the higher price on the tag - the one in NZ$! So the very much promoted 30% was not really the case when you take it off a higher price. It is only a small amount but I emailed Rivers to explain their error and that I have accessibility challenges as I am a person with disability so going back to the store to fix their error was not an option. I waited 9 days for a response to my enquiry only to be sent their template email that I had to go back to the store. I emailed again and haven't heard anything. Any bets how long I'll have to wait for another template response? ! Don't waste your time and money shopping here.
Rip-off they charge a 90 year old man $69.99 for a pair of shoes and on they website its $14.95 and i went back to complain about it they told me that he can't get refund it's the last time that my father will shop there i will never let him
Great place for shoes and garments shopping. Usually i found elder people shopping in this store. Maybe the stuff they have suit them more.
Worst online experience. Placed an online order on 02/11/2020 and the items are not shipped yet (20/11/2020). Contacted support 3 times. Each time they said the order is on the queue ready to be picked up by the delivery people. I first got this update on 11/11/2020 and then I got the same update today 20/11/2020. Their customer service is also useless, you have to wait in the queue for 30 minutes and you get an update which you already know and they are not willing to check with the Wearhouse why this order is not proceeding but waiting for the system to be updated.
This is my first online order with Rivers and will be the last as well. If any or you are planning to do online orders with them, please thin twice.
I would have orders these items from an overseas seller and would have received them way before.
Giving them one star as I can't post this without that they are not worth any stars at all.
I went to store I ask to staff I need shoes she said I can see shoes from hear she don’t want to walk with me for help me she is really rude. Don’t want to see her again
I am dropping into Rivers stores to check out what's new and on special quite regularly and have been pleased with the bargains I have picked up over the last few weeks. Anyway the experience of shopping here is always great and the staff have been very friendly and helpful whenever I shop here. Keep up the good work guys.
Great bargains, especially for men. Easy to find things. Can't try things on yet BC of CV19 but can bring back. Shame not Everyone can follow the Covid rules. So many people have no idea about social distancing, even after all this time. Will Go back to shopping online I think.
I was at rivers today and was given excellent customer service by a worker named Nuran she was very helpful and knew the job very well! Should have more workers like her, keep the great work up Rivers and hire people like Nuran

A very Good Experience with this store. Scored more than 100 points so scored a $5 dollar voucher.
Really bad attitude by the woman that just served me. I asked a simple question about why the vouchers are not on the card rivers gives its customers and she was ready to bite my head off. Maybe she was having a bad day but customer service in this branch has never been even okay. If you are buying things it's almost like you are inconveniencing their rest time. If you don't manage to put back stuff exactly where you found them they make their annoyance known and I've had more than one story of these people glaring me or friends and family down.
Don't be in an industry where you can't manage your attitude with the customers.
Should make sure that pricing tickets correct. I thought a top was $8 but was a lot dearer. Not good enough. Had to find a person to serve me at register.
Has the feeling of being very disorganised and cramped. Some good deals, so that kinda makes up for it.
I find the lighting at the Broad meadows store very frustrating. Poor lighting, you need to take what your looking at to the shop front to see the detail and color properly. Nice mens shirts at a good price at the sale yesterday
Totally disgusted in the service. Went in and staff walked away from the register when I went to call them one replied yeah yeah I'm coming and rudely threw my items to me. They need customer service training
