Rising Sun Hotel

As we were not locals and this hotel was in walking distance to where we were staying, the staff and the locals were exceptionally friendly, and the food was fabulous. During our stay we came here for our meals, certainly worth the money. Everything was great. I highly recommended this place.

Sorry but the service was below standard unfortunately. Couldn't recommend but check it out for yourself. Hopefully you get a better experience.

Staff cheerful and helpful. Service is very good and comes with smiles. Food is tasty, well presented and at a good price. Today we had a steak sandwich and a chicken and mushroom hotpie and loved it. Thank you to the kitchen and wait staff. We will be back.

Affordable, well placed seating, wheel chair friendly & absolutely beautiful meals. Friendly staff.

Everything about this place is fantastic. EXCEPT for the security guard in the gaming room. He must of been having a bad night. Never before have I been made to feel so unwelcome. Another patron mentioned the same. He had a problem with a loud patron, already in venue and because we spoke to him, got tarred with the same brush.
If he can't handle a bit of noise
(In a pokie venue) or people enjoying a drink (in a pub). I think he's in the wrong job. He wasn't civil or nice at all. ️

Meals were very yummy. We ordered several different meals and all were pleased. Lovely girl serving. We will be back a second time.

Other hotels take note: This is how you make the perfect steak sandwich. Tasty food, great service and fast turnaround. Thanks!

Definitely a nice place but the food was a little off I got S&P squid and it was just so soggy but the gaming room is really nice and the staff are quite lovely

Best food! Only downside is the wait on orders, we waited 40 minutes but it was worth it! Make sure to reserve a table as they get busy from popularity!

The rising sun hotel is a great place to meet up with friends and have a good meal and a coffee, the service is always teriffic, thanks to the great staff.
