Lovely atmosphere with the open air and the beautiful gum tree. Food was delicious and even though it was busy we didn't have to wait long and were looked after well. Thank you, we'll be back

We were very disappointed with the service. An hour after we got there, we had to find someone to take our order. The cutely had to be replaced as some of it was not clean. The water we were given was warm.
The quality of the food has slipped from. A 10 to a 5. So sorry you place has lost it great quality.

Only criticism would be not allowing small alterations to the menu like for example doubling the bambino spaghetti for my 11 year old who has a healthy appetite. And before you say why didn’t we Oder off the adult menu it was because there was no spaghetti with red sauce on the adult menu.
And we weren’t allowed to make any alterations to the menu to change the pasta or the sauce.

Awful experience. Arrogant owner and management. Very disappointing, would absolutely not recommend this establishment. There are many more welcoming and decent options less than a door away.

Really lovely dinner - atmosphere was warm and inviting-food excellent-staff happy and attentive. Resteraunt full - always book ahead to avoid disappointment.

The Best Pizza in Australia. Whoever is managing this place knows quality ingredients and how to cook a pizza, Perfecto!

We ordered Salt Pepper Squid and Salami Pizza with extra prosciutto. The Salt & pepper squid was delightful. It's fresh and tasty. We enjoyed it.

It took a while before the pizza arrived at our table and no prosciutto. The waitress apologised and brought the pizza back to the kitchen. After 10 minutes, the pizza returned at our table with thick slab of prosciutto sitting on top of the pizza. At first, I thought it was a leg ham. It didn't look nice at all as I was expecting thinly sliced prosciutto that I normally had when I dines at the pizzeria. It's was a disappointing.

If you come to Wangaratta this place is an essential visit for the best Italian food wine and coffee you'll find anywhere in Victoria.

We had seafood antipasti which were an immediate great impression and it just got better from there!

The unforgettable mains were paired with wines recommended by the bar staff, you can't go wrong with anything you order.

Desserts and coffee were an amazing end to the meal, absolutely if you want good Italian food you can't go past Rinaldo's, we will be back and can't recommend it highly enough. 6 out of 5 stars!

As always great food and service. But bring back drink service please. It is a fine dinning restaurant.

Friendly staff. Excellent food. Beautiful outdoor aspect.
We really enjoyed our meal. Authentic Italian. The entree sardines and zucchini flowers were a highlight for me while my son loved the slow cooked meat pasta.

Enjoyed a lovely meal. Waitress was very helpful and efficient. Just one minor comment: music was too loud and not very suitable for a relaxing lunch. Otherwise a delightful afternoon.

Wonderful wood fired pizza on the way to a stopover in Gundagai, beautiful spot by the river with great service. House made gelato available, and can stock up on house olive oil and other goodies. Wangaratta was surprisingly modern and trendy little town off the highway

We love eating at Rinaldo's, service is great: friendly and efficient and food is superb. Lovely setting with a view of the gums along the river.

Dined this evening with another couple.

Food was average at best, pasta was dry and covered in B grade parmesan with no taste, I had to put oil from the bottle on the table to give it some moisture…my fellow diner had the same with his pasta dish.
The potatoes in chicken dish had clearly been cooked days before and reheated. Chicken was tasteless and the prosciutto tasted a little funky, maybe on the turn…
Homemade ice cream was very good though and for that I gave the second star.

Whilst the service was quite good we found a very strange arrangement with the service of drinks.a lovely waitress came to take our food order without a mention of drinks and we had to ask. We were then advised that we would need to go to the bar and get our own drinks.this seemed at odds with the standard of restaurant, considering they were offering wines up to $350, and it was not a pub type setting.

When we questioned another young waitress, she said she was not quite sure of the reason for this drinks arrangement but thought it had something to with the age of the staff (ie being under 18 and not allowed to serve alcohol)
That being said, our food server was clearly over 18 and I assume could run drinks.
To further blow that theory out of the water, our friends ordered affogato with Frangelico
(an alcoholic liquor) for dessert and this was promptly delivered by our young underage waitress…

When I approached the manager at the end of the meal to offer feedback, ie id I was paying $350 for a bottle of wine I would definitely expect that it is delivered, opened and poured at the table by the wait staff. I was pretty much brushed off and told that the service works well for them and that he would have to employ more staff to be able to run drinks. He also pointed out that it is a government requirement that staff under 18 are not allowed to run drinks. Fair enough however when I pointed out the Frangelico example and he seemed disinterested.
Not a place I would rush back to.

The Calamari Fritti would have to be my favourite dish - loved it. The Spaghetti Gamberoni was lovely and the prawns were tender. The Spiced Appple crepes were yummy but probably alittle on the sweet side. My partner enjoyed his baked prawn entree but the Lamb Rump was not tender and really had no taste. He loved the fresh peas and polenta. He also enjoyed the crepes. Our cocktails were delicious. Thank you we always enjoy Rinaldo's.

Disappointing experience. This place is going down hill. Went with a group of 10 people and we were completely forgotten about. No complimentary bread was brought out to have with the oil and vinegar on the table. Salt and pepper also not covid safe are in a dish which forces you to use your fingers to get any - hope they don't reuse it. Pizza is the best option on their menu. The pasta was too thick and not well cooked. Prawn pasta was dry and sad. The ravioli was very creamy but I found 3 hairs in it! I didn't complain as the waitress looked like the manager was giving her a hard time. Disappointing to see an older man treat his young waitstaff poorly. Won't be rushing back anytime soon.
