Ribs & Burgers Hawthorn

We had the baby back feast, lemon & herb chicken burger, old school cheese beef burger, bacon & cheese beef burger and a side of sweet potato chips.we then ordered another set of spared ribs but waited super long for it only to realise that it was packed up for takeaway instead.service could be more friendly and attentive to be honest.well it could also be due to the restaurant was nearing its closing hour thus the slack?

For 2 people its more value to get the meal deal. Its a big serve so you both need to be starving! Lol

Good amount of seating space both indoor & outdoor. Place was well maintained, simple menu, Food came out quick, good selection of drinks.

Was the worst ribs I have ever eaten, the meat couldn’t be cut if the bone I think because they are not enough cook.

I find the food a bit of a hit and miss at times. Arranged for a pick up last night and ordered 1.5 kilos of beef ribs and burgers. Ribs were so tough it was nearly uneatable. Very disappointed in the quality.

Ordered a single burger + fries to take away. Had to wait 35min for my order as apparently my burger was dropped into another customer’s bag. Clearly not worth the wait!

The food was so delicious especially the lamb rids, soft and juicy. Also friendly stuffs and customer service. Will definitely visit again.

The burgers are good! They don't use those sweet buns like many other burger joints which I prefer, their buns are more savoury with sesame seeds on them. Great!
The beef patties are yummy too, real tasty beef.
Ribs lack flavour, they used to be better years ago.
I used to eat here quite a bit, however they don't serve fresh chips all the time, this is a massive issue for me.
No one wants the lukewarm stale chips that have been sitting there since midday for dinner which is what I've been given the last few times I've eaten here which is just lazy cooking.

Horrible staff. The blonde haired guy at the counter at the worst attitude I have ever seen at r and b. Asked to buy some extra dipping sauces and he made a big rude face. Need to get you game up guys such staff shouldn’t be retained at such a premium restaurant.

Excellent wagyu burgers and pork ribs. Would recommend this place. Has ample space so good for kids.

Update: don't know what you have done but the food is rubbish now. Burnt, lacks the taste it did before lacks the flavour. Absolute garbage.
I have been here before and it was great. This time it was 0 stars and I won't be back.

Really disappointed that ribs and burgers DO NOT read the order requests more carefully. I placed an order through Uber eats requesting no liquid cheese and adding jalapeños which I paid extra for. They basically ignored by instructions. Not only did they keep the liquid cheese, they charged me for the jalapeños that they didnt add to the burger. This has happened a few times now. Disappointed that the staff are careless with order requests.

I ordered the new V2 burger and added a beef patty to try and see if I could tell the difference. I could tell when I tried them separately, but in the actual sandwich, I couldn't really tell. The ingredients were all fresh and flavoursome – I especially loved the pickles and colourful jalapenos! My only improvement point would be the buns could be a bit fresher – perhaps toasted? The staff were very lovely and accommodating – thanks, fellas!

We had a lovely lunch there, the flavour of sauce on the ribs was tasty, the atmosphere was great and it felt very clean and safe there with the staff focus on being COVID-safe. The customer service from Stephen was excellent. He was patient and helpful and answered all our questions about the menu items. He efficiently fixed an error with the payment process and the food was served quickly. Looking forward to returning in the future.

I couldn’t be more disappointed. Tonight I decided to lash out and spent $65 on Pork Ribs and chips. I am feeling hugely deflated and still hungry. What a pathetic amount of ribs for this amount of money and although the ribs were super tender I found them flavorless. Chips were cold and soggy as I had it delivered. I would not recommend this place to anybody! Off to McDonalds we go….

Over the years I've enjoyed R&B. However, while the quality of food is ok, for the price you pay, you should be getting more, and unfortunately the wait for food is far too long, sometimes your food arrives cold. Quality of food is good, everything else is poor.

Two of us came to Ribs & Burgers Hawthorn on a Monday night to grab a quick bite of dinner. I ordered the lemon and herb chicken burger and chips. It was very tasty, but I only wish it were bigger. Thanks for the excellent customer service and food. I will definitely be back to enjoy other burgers on offer:)

I bought a burger from there I expected to be a decent size for 15 dollars which I could of made it at home for 3 dollars never again.

Ordered off Uber Eats and it took over an hour and half to get to me. By the time it did the food was freezing cold. Not good enough. I know that it can get busy sometimes with uber eats but at least have a business like this should have the time management skills to cook the ubereats orders closer to when the order will be picked up.
