I came here a couple years ago and from memory it was lovely so we thought let’s try see if we get a table. Walked in and got a table thought it was very quiet for a public holiday but felt really lucky we got a table and couldn’t wait to eat! We were starving.
There was 1 waitress doing her best and another in training I’m assuming who really needs more guidance and support - Better mentoring. He had no idea about anything on the menu. Regarding food… for almost $300 it was lacking QUALITY and QUANTITY! The food had no flavour at all and felt it was half of what we had ordered when we came for a set menu the last time. 1 saganaki for 4 people and we’re told that’s the correct portion size. The table next to us was a table for 2 and had the same size. I could go on about each dish but don’t wish too do that. The dessert was also very old. I’m Greek and know how Greek sweets are made. Wow! They were extremely disappointing.
The one thing that I will say is the dips and bread were lovely. Wish we had more of that.
Would really like to push to the owner not to take this as an offensive review but more constructive criticism. From reading last reviews after today I can see how unprofessional the responses are by the owner. If they really just took onboard peoples honest reviews and rectified the areas of concern I believe it could be a good restaurant. Just show some LOVE in the cooking and to the customers! Also had a sugar low and didn’t have any glucose jelly beans and almost fainted to I went to ask the waitress for a lollie or chocolate or anything small that’s sweet- I got told “ I don’t have anything sweet and pushed me away basically because she was busy. Yes I can understand that she was busy but if a customer is having an emergency this is not the way to go about first aid as a business. Thankfully the food came and I didn’t faint otherwise we all would have gotten up and rushed out. Owner and Staff Training needs evaluating! Customer service needs work and maybe a first aid certificate. Wishing them all the best and hope things do get better and I do hear good things about the restaurant again in future.

This is a great place for a romantic night out or a casual dinner with friends or family. The food is authentic and absolutely amazing. It tastes authentic and is cooked to perfection. Unlike so many other Greek restaurants I've visited the grilled food was not overcooked, and the meat was so tender and juicy inside.
The customer service was second to none but don't be alarmed by the Bangladesh waiter at a Greek restaurant. He adds to the ambience and ensured my husband had the best birthday ever. Do helpful, polite and we will definitely be back both thanks to his hospitality and the great food!

What a wonderful place. We were gifted a banquet for 2 and left extremely happy. Service was wonderful and food delicious. Will certainly be back.

Ordered our meals at 6: 30pm only ordered two mixed gyros and drinks. We got our drinks quickly, but after 30 minutes, we had no meals and the waitress apologised saying because we didn’t order entrees we’d have to wait a little longer.

Then about 20 minutes later we still had no meals and the waitress came to double check our orders, we reconfirmed them and she apologised again.

An hour had passed we still had no meals, then the manager to our table and apologised. We thought he was going see what the hold up, but was but instead went behind the counter and served other customers.

About 15 minutes later the waitress came and we said we can’t wait anymore, we just wanted to pay for our drinks and leave. She got the manager to come, he came and we told him the same thing, he said we could have the meals to go and just needed to wait one more minute, which we reluctantly agreed to. We got our meals to go, we paid, the waitress did apologise again and we left at 8pm.

Once got home to finally have dinner time is at 8: 30pm, I open my meal and half of it is missing: no pita bread, hardly any salad and a wedge of potato.

Personally I would not recommend this place to anyone after the experience I just encountered.

Beautiful authentic Greek food 100%
But service felt pushy and not welcoming, I had felt judged but the waitress, very rude nature, asked for coffee and she told me to wait till my food was served? What kind of hospitality tells you when to order and not to order disgraceful service, get her out from front of house put a friendly person there.

Greek cuisine that is deliciously authentic! This eatery is incredible. Freshness and quality explode from the flavours. The gyros must be sampled, as they are tender and perfectly seasoned. Simply divine is the tzatziki. Staff members and the atmosphere contribute to the overall experience. Strongly advised!

Very disappointing eaten here many times before and was great, it has a new owner I all I can say is a great deal of improvement is needed.
We were here for a med sized Xmas party, the staff were very unfriendly & unhelpful the service was lacking. Food came out 1hr after ordering drinks were ordered and turned up 1/2hr after placed, we were told that we could only order 1/2 a table at a time as they wouldn't be able to get the whole tables food out at once.
It took 1hr to get a bottle of water on the table and when i asked the waitress for it she rolled her eyes at me. Now this review is just so the venue can see the importance of the staff on floor how they interact with patrons and they can only see it from there mentor, which is not good since the owner was working the floor and also needs improvement.
You could of made so much money from this party in drinks and food but instead we were close to getting up and leaving to go elsewhere, you should also never tell the patron when they're paying if you had of ordered table platters like I told you it would of been easier for us and quicker for the service.
If this is the case remove your menus and make it a set menu only venue.
Really you must step up your game with so many more good restaurants in Williamstown you are damaging your own business

Waiter that was a lady maybe in her late 50s/60s was extremely rude to me on Christmas Day. While ordering she said ‘Ay? ! ’, being passive aggressive with every interaction. Clearly not happy and not wanting to provide a good experience for me and my mother on Christmas Day. Would definitely not recommend going here if you want to have an enjoyable experience, especially not on Christmas. If I could leave 0 stars I would

First Greek restaurant we've been to for some time, but the food was good. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Service was great and not rushed.

Picked up multiple UberEats orders from them got quick service. Staff is very kind with delivery drivers it doesn’t happen everywhere. Liked the way they are treating people was not expecting this much kindness.

Whilst you seem to be concerned with how much your clientele are spending, you are forgetting the number one in hospitality, customer service. There are many ways you could have gone about treating a group of local teenagers, trying to give back as much as they can by visiting local eateries. Instead, you treated them with disrespect and made them feel intimidated and embarrassed by your terrible delivery of policy. I don’t argue your policy, but when you treat locals trying to support your business with such rudeness, they will vote with their feet and advertise with their mouths. Try being kinder in future! There are plenty of businesses in Williamstown that treat the youth like family and welcome them no matter what they have to spend.

Been to this restaurant many times over the years and my previous rating was 5 stars. But last night was my family’s last. Started the night arguing with ‘part owner’ after being told we had to order banquet menu for dinner. My wife was informed on booking that we could order from the full menu, then reconfirmed this a few days later with a follow up phone call after receiving a text message. But no, didn’t matter, didn’t want to hear it. Treated with contempt after explaining this multiple times. We had to argue and regretfully lost my temper after the rude, arrogant behaviour shown to my family. He conceded then allowed ordering from them menu after we stated that if we couldn’t order from the menu, we will leave. So effectively, our dining experience ruined for nothing! And local people who won’t return who will repeat this story.

The food was ok, hence the two stars. Bit pricey, but we knew what we were up for.

Very busy tonight, the waitress we had was amazing given the circumstances, they didn't realise that they hadn't served us our mains, and i am certainly not going to put them down for it, i am extremely happy with they way they were trying given that they seemed to be well under staffed. I would recommend them to anyone, the food was great and i will be back again. Keep up the hard work guys and Thanks

Greek meaning of Remvi is Relaxing or Dreaming.we thought of a Relaxing Sunday Lunch by the Bay or at least Dreaming of delicious Greek Food by the Bay. We had neither.
My first 1 Star ever. Paid for the bottle of wine $45.00 & left after 50 mintues waiting for an order that was never submitted to the kitchen as mentioned by the Chef. Really? & in 2022 after a Pandemic? And this is what you call Hospitality? Fool on Me the 1st time to have walked into this Greek Restaurant by the Bay.
