Red Rooster Shepparton

I wish the manager would wear his face mask properly. Only covering the chin does nothing to protect the people he is serving. I note all other front of house staff were wearing theirs correctly.

We had red box meal deal, so disappointed chicken was so dry, burger just pass some with chips glad they won't salted, only potato and gravy, drink not worth the price, a big let down.
Red Roaster used be great tasting not now.

The manager is really nice. He personally handle my order when i decided to make some changes with my order. Kids love the chicken.so yummy and crunchy.

Meh was hoping for better. Alas not. Average. Mix box and some decent fried chicken but bland. Chips were soft. Mash was sodium bomb. The roost roll (that pale white thing on the photo) was mega soft and again bland. Wings were ok but again no favour other than fried taste and a bit of salt. K f c is better.

I brought fried chicken satisfier box chicken had nice flavour but was well overcooked it was real dry couldn't eat it

Picked up a beautiful chicken roll from here, it was fantastic! Also the staff is amazing. Very helpful people!

I ordered a Rooster Roll from the Shepparton store about 20 minutes before closing time. The chicken was dark, dry and rubbery and had a weird odour so thankfully, I only ate a few bites. I felt sick not long after and didn't eat anything else. Later that night, I couldn't sleep and ended up vomiting until my stomach was empty which made me feel better.
The next morning the rubbish bin stunk because of the chicken. This is the second time I've bought a meal close to closing time and found the food inedible. The first time I threw the whole meal away after eating a few chips which were soggy and greasy. This is the only time I've actually vomited but I won't ever buy food from this store again. The chicken is not fresh and I suspect they keep it longer than they should then reheat it (especially at the end of the day). Avoid this store unless they get new management.

This would have to be the worst chicken I've ever eaten not only was it over cooked & there oil needed changing.my wife & I got very sick especially me as I've had the top of my stomach removed & it effected me worst. I spent most of the night vomiting.i will never eat red roster again.

Always get drivethru walked in today and didn't relise how filthy the shop is the hot box where the chicken is kept was gross and the floor was discusting let's not talk about the toilets

Food was good but had to explain the order 3 times at the mic and they still got it wrong at the window when read out to me.

Everything about this place is ok. The one advantage is the quality far surpasses the time taken to cook, so you will not be disappointed, but neither will you be impressed.

We stopped her for a drive through take out as the restaurant was closed because of the Covid-19 restrictions. The menu is very diverse for a fast food restaurant and they do simple family-friendly food at reasonable prices.excellent service. Their staff is really nice.overall is really good

Always choose their rooster rolls, they are just so yummy for a quick meal. The staff are very friendly also. I like the fact you can order veges through the drive-thru as well as other fuller fat and tastier options. The menu is very diverse for a fast food restaurant and they do simple family-friendly food at reasonable prices.

The classic roast they gave me tasted totally off, chicken and vegies put straight in the bin, then with in the hour felt sick with the very little I had tried, never going back to the shop again.

Not that busy. Only one person before me in queue. Fast service, was able to eat in by using Qcode. Very clean premises.

Lovely fresh food - crisp tomato and lettuce! Hot chips. Yummo. Customer service was good. Bathrooms could do with regular cleaning.

Chips were hot, but over cooked & old.
Gravy flavorless.
For $10 we were very disappointed.
$10 for a family sized chips, $7 for gravy.

Just enough for lunch for 2.

$17 for chips and gravy that were old and awful!

Avoid

Yet again the chips are either undercooked or that old they are in edible. Surprisingly the shop owner cooked my order of chips as well. You would think the mature owner of the store would know how to cook chips but he doesn’t.

Not enough staff. Chicken was dry. Food definitely more expensive than other red rooster's in Melbourne. Choose a different restaurant if just passing through.

Unclean, toilets are appalling.
