Red Rooster

Friday 4/08/23, we had lunch at Red Rooster in Cranbourne North. It was the very awesomr experience we have had in a long time. The staff were fantastic, the chicken was cooked just right. If that staff was on every day. I would be there every day.

Ordered Family size chips. Got half container of oily, soggy, non salty and cold chips. This is second time it happened. Very disappointed

Chips were soggy and over-salted. Staff were friendly but store was dirty. Not a pleasant experience all around.

Have been there a few times and have Rooster rolls, everytime no sauce went tonight same again, so if you like your rooster rolls dry go there.and the only reason why i gave 1 star was cause i have to.

I didn't realise how extensive Red Roosters menu is now as I haven't been to them in a few years. I feel they have heaps of yummy things to offer more than ever before.

Anything they can put salt on, expect way too much salt. I didn't put chips in my order cos they were too salty last time but I ordered the corn wheels and omg the butter was basically butter mixed with half a tub of salt. I had to scrape it off to be able to enjoy the corn wheels and not just a mouthful of salt. Yeuch. Pineapple fritter and cheesy nugs good though.

Ordered through doordash, got to red rooster to then be told the order won’t be ready for another 30 mins, got home to eat the salad smelt off and taste off, the potatoes were gross and cold the chips tasted like cardboard.
Waste of $54

The food was absolutely terrible. The chicken roll was warmed in the microwave the chip were cold and limp.

Apart from the food the place was dirty, outside and inside.
The only one good part of our visit was the girl serving at the counter, she was friendly and helpful with our order.

Dude decided to close 10 minutes early and just said his managers told him he needs to leave the store at 9pm on the dot. So update your hours to 8: 50 then. We drove out of our way to go here and this smug infant gets on the drive thru and tells us to f-off. Nah mate

I ordered through drive through and i was asked to wait for 4mins. I waited for 20mins and nothing, i have to go inside to get my order which they’ve actually missed. Very poor service.

Beautiful hot food, drive through busy but you can watch them cook your food freshly.great store

Unfortunately the worst purchase. The bread was stale
And everything was too salty. Have bought from other stores before and no issues. Never from here again.

Slow. Update. I've had my last piece of chicken from them. The fried chicken was completely dry and the chips were lifeless.

Good size meals and real chicken
Unfortunately not as popular as kfc or Mc Donald's
Higher price than the two but you get real chicken meant not processed meat.

Ordered a regular chips (extra salt) NOT a HEART ATTACK WORTH OF SALT.never have i EVER had this much salt put on something even when i’ve asked for extra salt.they were literally INEDIBLE and disgusting.yes i get i asked for extra but i mean a little bit more (if i wanted this amount i would say extra extra extra extra extra extra x10 more times). Which most places seem to understand. AND the chips weren’t even fresh which just made it so much worse! It’s was 9.30 at night why wouldn’t the chips be fresh. It was literally like they put the whole shaker of salt on these chips.so BEYOND.

VERY slow. Fries needed more cooking. Some were still almost raw. Mayo + sauce was too sloppy. Bread roll did not taste fresh.

17/11/21 6: 15pm. Staff is great. Service is always good. But this particular meal wasn’t a pleasant one. It wasn’t just the batch of chicken, it was the gravy and chips also. We each had the fried fillet box and everything was overly salty. Didn’t finish it, and didnt want to inconvenient ourselves by driving back. Nevertheless, the staff are great and I respect any worker in the fast foods frontline.

If I could give less than 1 star I would, I would like to say I got to try the food at this store but sadly the staff chose not to serve me and the 9 dance Mums I had with me, I feel like we dodged a bullet fair because as we were leaving a cockroach ran out from the kitchen chasing a mouse

The Cranbourne north store has gone down in quality. Don't know what has happened but they have got my order wrong on the last 2 occasions. The chicken was dry and looks to be re-cooked, tastes of nothing. Hopefully someone at red rooster will read this and tell me that this store has been addressed with all of the similar issues.
