Red Rooster

Went here 15mins before closing and it seems they made our order out of left overs. Chips were cold, my chicken wrap was stuffed with enough cheese to fill a crater on the moon, the cheese n bacon ripper was made out of some other bun that still had traces of sauce n lettuce. Was also soggy. Young fella, about his cheesy nuggets, said “it doesn’t taste the same as last time”. So the whole family was let down. Just the encouragement we need to start cooking at home.

It was the worst I've ever had from Hastings red rooster I got a classic chicken there was hardly a spoonful of peas the roast potato was golf ball sized cut into two pieces not the carrot was hard so was the pumpkin and no sweet potato as normal it was very very poor

Young employees are hardworking and provide great customer service. The supervisor however need to be removed, not even replaced. Cause every time I've gone in for a feed, the supervisors are completely useless and an absolute burden to the young staff. Far from professional or useful it really makes you wonder how they were given that position in the first place cause you always see them mucking about! Hastings red rooster also don't deliver.

Waited a long time for overpriced below average food. I spoke clearly yet had to repeat my order several times both at the intercom, and directly with the team member. There was lots of laughing from within the empty restaurant by staff. Staff were unprofessional and some were more interested in their phones. Heard a staff member yelling to get off their phone. We were the only customer.
It's understandable why stores are closing.

The only drive through in Hastings that has respectful and polite staff members. Food is always great.

Who doesn't like Red Rooster. Tastes like real food. Not like the "Golden arches". Red Rooster care about customer service and quality products. Made from fresh real ingredients. In fact I going there right now. Chips with extra seasoning. #Noice

Food is great, always real chicken and quite reasonable pricing.
And service is ALWAYS lovely.
The only reason I wouldn't give them 5 stars is the roast veggies.there's never enough in the box. And thechips are very salty.
But otherwise, they never disappoint.

Cooked perfectly.tasty and moist Crispy buttermilk chicken.also popcorn chicken v good. I will be back!

Chicken cheese n bacon burger was horrible. How do you cook the bacon. Boiled? Is that how you cook it at home. 9.45 for a burger that the bun was bigger and fuller than the actual filling is a joke, and that a few people I spoken to say that red roosters normal burgers are usually small and pathetic. The burger was as flat as a "flat earthers" theory now I remember why KFC is far superior. Also the spicy Mayo something CHICKEN something wrap had enough salad on it to make a vegetarian happy. You won't lose much business there as I've only been to a red rooster once or twice

Foods great, as always service at Hastings is deplorable. Consider this slow food not fast food!

Awesome deals- fresh food - herb mayo & herb potato&gravy better than kfc- clean & friendly service.well done - red rooster gets overlooked but it’s awesome.

Waited for ages for food and it was only me waiting for a $5 meal chips.i was the only one in there ordering. Also the chips was over salted

I ordered the roast & all the vegetables were not cooked through. They were hard.
Very disappointing & it's not the first time this has happened.

Quick drive thrue and easy access and exit.been to 1 been to them all.food quality it great.prefere this restaurant for meals over McDee's but McDees has more to offer for the kids entertainment.

Dropped in for a quick bite to eat on my way down the coast. I don't normally eat alot of fast food but my stomach was grumbling and didn't want to make a major stop so went and grabbed myself a burger and chips.
Food is what you'd expect and if you set your expectations higher, you'll be disappointed. Staff though, were lovely and very friendly.
Wheelchair friendly. Kid friendly. Good parking. Toilets clean.

Customer service and workers disgusting. Treat everyone like dirt, thinking they are better than others. Lazy and uneducated drop outs. Do NOT buy from here. Most likely contaminate the food.

FOOD POISONING!
My mum and I had red roasted at Hastings last night, she has a rooster roll and was up all night vomiting and on the toilet. She has had it all day as well. I had chips and a pineapple fritter and wasn’t sick. So it was bad chicken. Obviously not clean and very un-hygienic. Very bad experience.

I found it very dirty, and the staff very not friendly at all. And took a long time to get our food. Which I found that the chicken wasn't cooked. I would not be going back there

Ordered 2 chickens for our Christmas Day lunch. Staff were wonderful and cut them up in to 8ths. Nothing was too much trouble.

Well I put in my order online EASY! But then realized I'd forgotten A DRINK OMG. I ring the lovely, always happy friendly staff down at Hastings Red Rooster and BOOM! No worries, they even gave it to me for FREE (I'll fix them up next time, with a tip). This country needs to take a lesson in customer satisfaction. If you want staff members like these ones, maybe go down and ask the manager what he does too make his workers so productive, generous and kind?
