This place is super cute, and staff are super nice. There are two outdoor area, for those with dogs, and an inside area. There is a good selection of food, and sweets.
Do try the Brioche French toast, it's amazing.

One of my fave cafes in Northcote. Exceptional food and great service. I never thought Pulled Pork for brekkie would go down so well. Yum!

Iconic must visit Northcote cafe. It’s a terrific place. A lovely spot to spend an hour or so. Food’s always good and the menu offers good choice. Coffee’s always good. Service is always good too. Actually, good understates it. Very good to excellent would be better descriptors. Our coffees here this morning were excellent. Service from multiple servers was great too.

Lovely little local cafe away from the High St rush. Sits all alone and really well appreciated by those in the know. Two open air areas and generous space inside.

I always love red door. Its crazy busy for a reason. The food is tasty and thoughtfully sourced. The staff are friendly. Sit out front or in the back garden with your dogs (yay).
No alcohol though.

The food is delicious and not overly rich or flavored. I wasn't feeling my best and didn't think I could handle some of the food but it was perfect.

Food is nice, sweets are great, hot chocolate is awesome and service is friendly and prompt. Just one thing needs changing. The outdoor table layout and those horrendous uncomfortable chairs. They are wobbly and super uncomfortable. Tables on one side are way too squeezy so people kept bumping into each other. When this changes the 4 stars will become 5.

Love the staff here (great banter with them). Delicious food. Only bad thing is how busy it gets but it’s worth it.

The food here is so so good! I’ve been here numerous times and tried various dishes and all of them are so delicious. They have a way of combining flavours to excite the tastebuds, will keep coming back. Coffee is great too!

Unassuming venue but always has high quality food that tastes delicious and looks amazing. Coffee is some of the best I have had in Melbourne and most definitely one of the best in Northcote. It can get very busy but service is very good, highly recommend if you're in the area.

Really nice and busy little cafe that had a lovely warm ambiance. I really enjoyed the porridge that I had it was beautifully presented though maybe a touch small.

Live locally and finally got the chance to come here - and wow - a very cool cafe! Great food and local jam's etc for sale. Just been diagnosed with some lame wheat allergy - so will be coming back to sample all the gluten free options soon!:)
