rebel Chirnside Park

Went into Rebel Chirnside Park today with absolutely no idea about what treadmill suited our needs or what the differences were. We were served by Phil who was incredible! He had such a great understanding of all the machines and listened to what we were looking for within our budget.
All staff at Rebel have been a great help in the past, but Phil went above and beyond today.

Front end staff were really helpfull today after I got things wrong. Thanks for your help & patience.

4 staff members behind the counter talking, no acknowledgement on entry or exit. Was going to buy 4 smart watches for family Christmas presents. Loss of over $1k sales. Walked up to the black and yellow shop a few doors up and was served in and out in 10min. Same amount of time we were waiting in rebel

I tried buying a Umbro branded backpack and went to the counter only to be told that they weren't selling it anymore and needed to buy something else! Ridiculous, because that was what they put in the sales floor. It's a shame I buy my sporting equipment here and being informed that some products can't be bought and sold. I probably won't be buying from Rebel Sport in Chirnside ever again. Such an appalling shopping experience.

Had a great experience on the phone when I put an exercise bike on hold. Checked with the staff member to see if it would fit in my large four wheel drive she said yes with the seats down, no problem. Drove 45 mins today to pick the item up to be told they couldn’t assist to get it into the car and that I needed to bring someone else back with me or I could just get a refund. Said I should have been told on the phone that I couldn’t pick it up by myself (I wasn’t). With no other choice, I went to Bunnings next door (who clearly don’t have ridiculous rules re assisting customers), and one of their staff members (Troy) came back to Rebel with me to assist with my collection. He asked if the (very strong looking) guy could assist him at all and he said no. It then took Troy and I two mins to get the item in the car. Needless to say the Rebel staff had all disappeared by now. Would’ve taken two minutes of effort to ensure my whole experience was seamless. Poor communication and even poorer customer service.

Large store with plenty of choices. However the staff are too busy chatting one another up to be bothered about helping customers.

NOT HAPPY. Took our item to the register to pay and it scanned at double the price. I queried it, saying I was sure the ticket said $39.99. The female cashier went to check and came back saying, yes the wrong ticket had been put there. Still wanted to charge me the higher amount. So much for honoring the ticketed price: (

I’ve done click and collect orders at JB-HI-FI, Harvey Norman and The Good Guys throughout the pandemic. Every time they helped put the goods in my car. At Rebel, they dumped all my items onto the floor out the back and left me to put everything inside my car. They’re lucky I’m strong enough to lift all the weights I purchased but I won’t be buying from here ever again. Don’t bother bringing your ID cos they don’t bother to check that either. Lazy service.

The guys that helped us find stock and sizes were absolute super stars! They went above and beyond to make sure my son was happy and had the right sizes. Lovely girls at checkout were super friendly and helpful as well! Highly recommend this particular store!

Big store, better than ringwoods Rebel in my opinion as they always seem to have more stock. Helpful staff too.

On this particular visit we experienced the best customer service in a larger retailer than ever before.

Just went to Rebel Chirnside, found the runners I wanted, only one other customer in footwear section, waited 20 minutes, no help, waited, the other customer was being attended to, chatting and besotted with the attendant, trying on countless shoes to keep the conversation going, the sales person ignored me (probs because I'm 66 yo) and didn't say he'd get someone to help me - I replaced the sample shoe on the rack and walked away - pretty poor Rebel

Had a issue with a treadmill that we recently purchased. The staff could not have been more supportive in getting the problem resolved. Customer service at it's best!

Haley was extremely helpful and showed good knowledge on the product I was after also very helpful when my wife picked up the package. THANKYOU.

I arrived just after closing and was greeted by a lovely guy (I think his name was Corey) who grabbed my order without an issue or irritation. I really appreciated it.

Placed a click and collect. Got a quick reply. I called before pick up and I was given 2 options to collect. I could go into the store or go around the back and someone would put my order in my boot. I opted to go into the store. A Beautiful young girl with a very Happy smile served me. Even though the store was closing the next day and she wouldn't have a job. She was still happy to help.

Really friendly staff really quick service I was really impressed being in a hurry wanting to buy a punching bag lovely lady came and help me and gave me a really good deal some very helpful gentleman carried the bag to the front counter and I was happy to take it to the car.

Firstly- I wasn’t greeted by anyone when I entered the store. Secondly- I was standing for about 10 minutes waiting for a staff member to come help me. I walked up to two staff (talking to each other) and had to ask for help. Thirdly- I needed an item ordered from another store. I waited 20 minutes for them to say “they were young kids on the line and we don’t think they understood to put it on hold for you”. We took matters into our own hands and called Doncaster ourselves. Had no problems putting the item on hold. Very disappointed that Chirnside didn’t go above and beyond for us.
