Ramen & Dumpling House reviews
62 I tried this place once and ordered the Braised Beef Noodles. Disgusting. No flavour in broth, beef stale and no taste.
Havn't tried the dumplings yet though. But I've been to the Mount Waverley branch of this chain and it was very good. But here at this Vermont South, don't order the braised beef noodles or any other noodles. The waiters also seem to give the impression for me to get out of the place as fast as possible because its pretty popular and I was a lone diner.
Nice food but hold on. "can I use the toilet please? " No! Toilet closed. Lucky there was a sport centre next door to tge shopping centre.
It was 8.30pm. Our chatting had to stop on a number of occaisions as we could not hear over the yelling and laughing between the wait staff and their clanging of chairs.
Order online for the second time,
- ready on time
- good taste
- value for money
recommend this place
Have come here a few times with my family, love their food especially the pan fried dumplings. Always have a pleasant time dining here, because of the clean environment, friendly staffs and of course yummy foods.
Local restaurant. Meals are always good value. Never had a bad meal at the venue in three years. I believe the clientele belies the fact.
This is a wonderful place to dine in. The ingredients are great, the dishes have a great taste of the real China and as you become regular patrons to them, the staff treat you really well.
I surely recommend anyone to come into that place for a good dine and they are children friendly as long as you keep then within a social acceptability.
Family-friendly casual dining at its best. Great food every time. I live locally, and this place is a life saver when we don't have time to organise a meal.
Best Chinese food in the area, really conveniently located & fantastic service. Eat here regularly and never been disappointed:) Thanks guys!
The fried pork dumpling is really good. Totally recommended. Plenty of options even for vegan (my daughter is). The portion size is huge, good for sharing. Reasonably priced. Must go back. Soon.
Our family have been visiting time and times again, and occasionally take away as well.
The food is always great, tasty and good value for money in my opinion. The owner loves kids and she really create a happening / family atmosphere.
This restaurant is like our family canteen now!
Very good taste even you comparing with some Chinese Restaurant, and considering the price and food they provided, it's super value takeaway store.friendly staff, always stunning service even busy night. I can say it's really best in further eastern suburb.
Overall - Good experience, tasty food, friendly staff, easy access parking, wheelchair accessible, cosy atmosphere, and most importantly; value for money. Get the Dumplings. You will not regret it.
Gorgeous food, not too greasy like so many other places. We had a beef stir fry and it was absolutely amazing- light, zesty and peppery. The staff were also super friendly which is always a huge plus!

I first came here a year ago and loved the dumplings and noodles here - with my faves being the pan fried dumplings, pan fried juicy buns, hand made noodles in soup and spring onion pancake. Came back again recently and the food was still good, but found that all the dishes (except the noodle soup) were extremely oily. It’s still very tasty, and granted there will be oil for pan fried dishes, but felt it was a bit too oily this second visit round.
Reasonable price, good quality, not too crowded but you might need to wait for a while to be seated.
Very high quality hand made dumplings, including the skins, which means they ate very light and not chewy. Very good service too but a little too noisy for a comfortable conversation.
Our goto for 4 of us looking for a fast and satisfying meal. Dumplings are a must.
When we come as a family my son orders the wonton noodles and my daughter enjoys the rice fried.
Flavours different from 8 months ago. New owners perhaps. Still not bad for quality and taste. Favourite are the fried noodles with belly pork.
Dumplings were incredible. Will definitely go back for those. Meet in ginger dish was chewy. Tasty, but chewy.
Cosy and busy place for dinner. We went there this saturday and were totally impressed by the excellent customer service here. We were told to be queued and will be given a call back when the table is avaliable. Been waiting for more than 15 minutes, but the staff were so friendly and caring about their customers and kept aplogizing for the waiting. The food was quick and service were one of the best. Regardless of the crowd, we will definitely come back more often in the future.
