After a long while, decided to pop into this place for a quick eats, ordered fried buns and two other dishes, however the waitress didn’t write down the order, we end up not getting the fried bun, as well as one wrong dish, very disappointed.the waitress insisted it was us that didn’t correct her when she was repeating our orders

Good range of food and well prepared and presented, friendly service. This place is popular so order early at busy times.

Amazing dumplings, such lovely staff! I didn't give it a 5 just because the store is too small for the amount of business they do - so if you go at a peak time you can wait a long time for your meal and the pay/pick up orders system is a little hectic. But I definitely recommend the delicious food and amazing service otherwise.

Favourite local place to eat when you can not be bothered eating at home. Customer service is very cheerful

Too salty.
My advice is if you see the restaurant too crowded and busy, please don’t go in. You better try next time. Because when the kitchen is busy, they start messy and the taste of food is over. Sometimes overcooked, sometimes over salted.

Disappointing experience. It was 8 p.m. When I placed an order at the counter for chicken with pepper and chilli, and a side dish of steamed rice. I'd say they were at around three quarters capacity. Certainly not booked out, there were no lines of people waiting for service, there was no one at the counter waiting to pick up meals or placing orders.
I placed my order, paid and was told it would take 15 minutes. I couldn't help but notice how many staff members were behind the counter, they were everywhere, but no one seemed to know what was going on. Although they were doing a wonderful job of looking busy, they didn't really appear to be doing anything at all.
I went next door to grab some groceries, then at 8.20pm returned to the restaurant to collect dinner. The young lady who initially took my order said, sorry, it will be another 10 minutes. I took all the groceries to the car and by the time I got back to the restaurant it was now 8.35pm.
The same girl saw me coming, she took off and disappeared into the kitchen, but it wasn't long before she returned to the counter smiling, again with the same story. Sorry, sorry, another 15 minutes. This is now getting ridiculous.
By this stage there were probably 6 people left sitting at tables inside. There was nobody waiting at the counter. So how many times can they forget to either process the order or cook the meal? And again, there were multiple staff behind the counter, each one of them looking into the takeaway bags lined up, checking dockets over and over, taking something from one and putting in another. It appeared as though they really did not have any idea what was going on.
I was at a table inside and after about 10 minutes, I watched another staff member bring out a bag and place it on the counter. The staff were clearly very busy chatting to each other behind the counter in the little group they formed.
When I finally approached the counter again at 9 p.m, yep, that was my food sitting there in front of the girl that took my order an hour ago. I made it quite clear the service, or lack thereof, was unacceptable, but it just seemed to fall on deaf ears.
There were maybe 3 diners left inside by now. So it took a full hour to cook chicken and rice. Which cost me over $20. The icing on the cake from this glorious experience was a very average meal filled with dry, burnt chilli pods. Never again will I go anywhere near that place.

The place is cozy and staff are nice and accommodating. I love the pumpkin and red bean bun. The price is reasonable but a little bit less salt please next time.

Our favorite haunt.when thinking of lunch this place always comes to mind first.very reasonably priced and big helping.

If your on a budget, have low expectations, want plenty asian options and want quantity over quality then this place is for you.

This place looks like a small eatery in a shopping mall but it's more than that. It has a homely feel as the friendly staff bring out delicious food made as you watch through a glass screen between the kitchen and dining room. We'll worth checking out.

$8.5 Cold chicken with szechuan spicy sauce only serve 1 chicken drumsticks and cut in 6pieces. What a expensive price in there. Terrible experience and the food dont even put that much ingredient to deserve this price.
I will never going back to this shop.

The best dumping in Melbourne. I love handmade dumplings and fresh dumplings it worth to wait 45min never disappointed me.good food need to be wait.and the staff was so friendly.the restaurant also very clean and nice.overall experience is perfect.i don’t understand why some people can’t wait for the best food.then cook at home is more quicker you think?

Food is alright but the cleanliness raises alarm bells. I witnessed the person taking the order using the till, then handling a disgusting brush and catcher to sweep up around a table then promptly return to pack up food in some takeaway containers all with the same gloves. Obviously sanitation is not taken seriously here. Slow service despite all this. Will not return.

Glad I found this place during covid-19. The pan fried juicy pork buns are actually larger than average xiao long bao pan fried but still very delicious. The food so far has been superb and I am looking forward to my next order:)

This is the place that I love my dumplings is all about handmade and freshness.so delicious and friendly staff. I know this day a lot of place short of staff that why we need to wait so long.but for me not a matter as long as delicious

I visit this place with a friend every fortnight, and we both agree this place has best tasting and the cheapest dumplings in the eastern suburbs. The noodles are also very good. Sometimes the Tofu dishes are skimpy on the tofu (4 pieces in one bowl!), but considering how cheap and yummy everything else is I am more than happy to overlook some of their weaker dishes. The owner is amazing and the store is well kept.
All things considered, this is my favourite place to dine at.

This is my local dumpling spot. Good food but they always say “20 minutes” which means at least an hour. If you show up any earlier be prepared to wait.

Great dumplings, one of the best in the area. They just need to listen to instructions/requests for more vinegar/soy sauce!
