OUR GROUP HAD A VERY ENJOYABLE TIME HERE TODAY WE BOOKED FOR CHIRPYS OUR SECOND VISIT. SO 16 MEMBERS HAD LUNCH MEAL VERY GOOD SERVICE FRIENDLY AND VERYWELL DONE. OVERALL A GREAT EXPERIENCE AND WE ENCOURAGE EVERYONE TO TAKE A DRIVE OUT AND ENJOY THANK YOU ALL WE HAD A WONDERFUL RELAXING DAY. DAWN CO HOST. CHIRPYS BALLARAT

Our Cadillac car club had a most memorable night out at the Railway cafe one evening November 2021.
The staff went above standard to make sure we lacked nothing. The platters of food came out hot and delicious and there was plenty. What stunning architectural space for a gathering

Fantastic lunch and took home takeaway for dinner. Cooper my Jack Russell was welcomed and was given a bowl of water (Thankfully he was on his best behaviour)

Located inside the beautiful Maryborough Railway Station, friendly staff, good coffee, but if the furnishing and decor match the historic ambience of the railway station it would be a much better experience

This is a lovely place for lunch. Food is excellent and the iced chai was very nice. We had a chicken parma and the lamb souvlaki. We could sit outside right on the platform. Staff are very nice and food came out quickly. There's also a nice information centre next doors. Highly recommended!

Worth the drive for us from Ballarat to Maryborough for a lovely day out and wonderful food, atmosphere and service.
We love dining here and will make the drive again.

Great little place in a beautiful building. Loved everything here from the atmosphere, the staff to the delicious food and amazing desserts too! Will be back again!

What a fantastic café in the Maryborough station with extremely good food, coffee and service.
Had the special of BBQ Pilled Pork with Eggs Benedict, looked and tasted great.
Look forward to another visit when in the area next to sample their cakes, especially the Espresso Martini Ripple Pot:)

Every time I am in the area I always go to this lovely place to eat. I usually choose from the “specials” menu and I have never been disappointed. Closed on Monday and Tuesday.

An atmosphere that is just so good.sitting in comfort on the station platform or in the grand dining room on colder days.
A tempting array of naughty sweets and pastries, a very solid lunch menu (big portions-beware!) and good coffee as well. Combine that with cheery staff and what's not to like?

Beautiful old station building, great food, excellent service and we loved the decor and the atmosphere on the platform.

Completely unexpected.l came to look at the Railway Station. I didn't expect to enjoy a delicious breakfast.l did, Coffee was excellent too. Thankyou Ladies you're doing a great job! I've eaten breakfast in any number of establishments here, there and everywhere BUT yours was in my TopTen x

My wife and I had lunch there today. The food was reasonably priced and very good. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Admired this station from afar when picking up my kids from visitation weekend. Finally go in to have a look around building very nice. Go order a coffee to find cups with prices on them extremely hard to even see let alone read the price on them. So had to put glasses on bring closer to read the prices. Girl asks what would I like I ordered then proceeded to advise her the prices need to be redone as you can’t even read them there that faded. To my shock horror with her reply was it’s not my problem. I said it is to the consumer so that we can read It and she just laughed and said this isn’t my side so I don’t care. I would of stayed in and had my coffee admiring the decor but attitudes like this chicks with red hair in pony tale with glasses doesn’t make for a customer friendly environment. Never go back.

I never thought I would be eating dinner in a railway station hall. But this is something else! We enjoyed a unique menu within a splendid venue. Representative of the gold rush period in its size and elaborations, Maryborough Station is something to be marveled. Highly recommended.
