Thank you Gillian and Graeme for making our post wedding day (and one year anniversary) by being such great hosts during our stay. Can't wait to be back

Wow factor when you arrive at Qdos, such a beautiful peaceful, tranquil area to sit with a coffee or a meal, gorgeous accommodation as well. Definitely will be back.

What an amazing and relaxing stay! We went away for an anniversary weekend, and advised of our dietary requirements when booking. When we arrived late in the evening, Gill was there to greet us and had ensured there was vegan wine and cheese for us. The room was beautifully appointed but minimalist which was great, breakfast was delicious and again, Gill was so attentive and ensuring we had everything we need. Amazing stay and will definitely go back, and could not recommend any higher.

One off the best Art gallery in Victoria. Friendly and unique surranding Environment on top Great Art Work in the garden and inside! If you drive just a few kilometres up on the road you can discover an Amassing Enviroment! Protected sending you back in time! Thanks to how did stand for Otway's Forest 21 years ago! To those pioneer's I say Thank You from the Bottom of my Heart

The Japanese inspired accommodation is amazing. The cafe was great too. I had the baked eggs for breakfast and margarita pizza for lunch. Staff are genuinely so warm and friendly.

The art galleries were awesome. Lots of thought evoking paintings inside. The outdoor art installations were also brilliant. Hard to get past the giant mosquito.

Don't even get me started on the general atmosphere throughout the whole area. The buildings and pathways barely make a dent in the natural contours. You really feel at peace with nature when the trees and wildlife are just left alone to live with. Very nice change from living in a concrete jungle.

Overall a truly breathtaking experience.

One of the loveliest cafes I’ve been to in Victoria. Staff were exceptional and made us feel very welcome. Food was great, and the art made it a very enjoyable lunch. Highly recommend!

One of my favorite places to go for lunch in Lorne that feels like a secret hideaway - The ever changing art on display is the bonus.

My partner and I stayed in June 2021 and it was the most amazing experience! The staff went above and beyond for us, epically Jill!

I knew we would be in for a treat the moment we arrived. A glass of wine and a cheese platter to welcome us had us from the get go.

It felt like a treehouse, surrounded by the bush and loads of wildlife. Beds super comfy, our treehouse private and a lovely outdoor area to relax. Should you need the bright lights of Lorne, it’s 5 min away.

Breakfast in the morning a tasty bonus, a lovely start to the day.

Owners most welcoming, and have thought of everything to make your stay one to remember.

Qdos is a little slice of heaven on earth!
My sister and I stayed at Qdos for a weekend getaway this past weekend - 2 nights in the treetop accomodation and it was one of the most relaxing and rejuvenating experiences I’ve had. Gill is the most wonderful, friendly and considerate host - and was there for us the entire stay.
On arrival we were treated to a cheese platter and a glass of wine on the deck of the cafe (everywhere on the property has beautiful bush views). We felt instantly relaxed. We enjoyed our complimentary breakfast each morning and I slept better than I have in years in the Japanese inspired treetop bungalow - complete with authentic tatami floors and shoji doors and windows!
We walked to Lorne beach each morning for exercise - up and down enormous hills, and enjoyed our complimentary breakfast upon our return.
There are incredible sculptures dotted through the bushy landscape, and an art gallery open to explore every day.
The is very limited seating in the cafe/ restaurant and it is popular so I would recommend calling ahead to avoid disappointment. It’s well worth the short drive from Lorne’s main strip, or the vigorous walk, as Qdos is a hidden gem you won’t find anywhere else!

I highly recommend Qdos - and I will definitely be back.

Wonderful stay. We received complimentary wine and platter on arrival, breakfast every morning and even a bottle of wine from the host.
She was absolutely amazing, one of the nicest hosts we have ever had. Highly recommend.
Beautiful scenery and cute little rooms. So peaceful.

We had the best weekend ever in QDOS Lorne. The place is in the woods of Lorne above the town, in a very quiet and pastoral location. The garden art and the art gallery are designed in good taste and creates a special atmosphere. The treehouses are stunning, clean and have everything you need. They are well arranged to allow each guest his own privacy. The hospitality of the staff but mainly Gill who runs the place is just amazing. She finds the time to chat and know her guests. She is generously caring and making sure you'll be happy, eat well and enjoy your stay. The food in the café is great with quick service and fresh vegetables from their garden. I highly recommend staying in QDOS and will certainly return there myself.

Beautiful architecture, vaulted ceilings, lovely paintings, creative atmosphere, nestled in the bush a stone's throw from the seaside town of Lorne, recommend a visit if you're in the area.

There were two parts to our experience, the art and the Cafe. The art gallery, grounds and pottery shop were great. The art exhibition that was on was very interesting and a very nice experience. It's a great property and on a nice day would be lovely to walk the grounds andaybe even hang out around some of the sculptures. 5 stars.

The Cafe was a bit of a different story. If you want take away make sure to bring your own cups (this doesn't however factor into the review, it's more of an FYI). Out of the four of us there, three of us agreed that the coffee we had was a bit burnt, and the flavour not great. Service was average. Would however highly recommend the cakes. Cafe a 3.

Excellent place to visit for lunch or coffee. Lovely gallery, interesting sculptures in the surrounds and a pizza oven.

We stayed for only one night on our Great Ocean Road trip. Very very nice manager. Top location, 15 min walk away from very crowdy steets with restaurants. So it was very quiet and relaxing. Awesome breakfast and good coffee! Great view from our apartment‘s balcony.

Food was O. K.no more. I had a glass of Pinor Noir, it tasted like a cask wine. I suspect either the bottle was opened for many days or ruined in a warm storage. Unless indeed they were serving a cask wine.
I wanted to ask to a person who was serving our table, not to complain to begin with but I only heard "I know nothing about wines, you should ask Julie behind the bar" No one ever returned.
One person was asking if we wanted have some water for the table, and the other was saying water is self served at the cafe.
Nice service there.
Good location tho, very quiet, far from the crowd.

Great charcuterie board with rosé. Good service and quality products. It would have been exceptional with a better quality soft cheese. Great surroundings, wonderful gardens interspersed with wonderful sculptures and beautiful art from indigenous and modern art. A feast for the senses.

A fantasic place to visit, art sculpture in a magnificent setting. Situated in the hills above Lorne. Very nice cafe with good range of cakes. Great place to stop by after Erskine Fall.
