I don't usually write reviews and tend to let business know directly. But this actually was the only way I can communicate and get in touch with DPV. I'm sure it is due to surge in demand, but I had to cancel an appointment and tried 5 times to call to no avail. A nurse who was organising a second nurse to assist my daughter getting her covid vaccine (she has phobic responses to needles) kept ringing me during my work hours and leaving impatient (understandably) voicemails. I would call back and phone would ring out. Then I got the automated text to confirm or cancel only 40 mins before the appointment. I was in a meeting so could only text 20 mins before the appointment to cancel. By then it was too late and received a text saying it wasn't accepted. Very frustrating and I am sorry to think the nurse (who was lovely and helpful) would have concluded that I ignored her. DPV, you need to have more alternatives for communication e.g. Email, options via health engine etc. At the very least please send out automated SMS messages 24 hrs before and not give only a 40 min window to respond. My aim wasn't to rant but to say - If there is a representative who is going to read this review: could you please identify the nurse who was calling on 13th May to help my daughter with her needlephobia.and tell her I'm sorry, I appreciate her attempts. I wasnt ignoring her! (I have filed feedback on complaints link since writing)

They can't even help with Medicare? Handed paperwork back to receptionist and she just left it on the counter with all my personal information present, this place doesn't hold up to the privacy act. Hour wait time after appointment. No help, no respect for time and NO privacy?

Dr Syed Arif Ahmed is the worst doctor I've ever come across. Rude & unhelpful.
I asked him to help me organise a referral to see a dermatologist to assist me in finding and treating the cause for my eczema. He said no, and that I couldn't afford it, I explained to him that money wasn't an issue as I was in a lot of pain and just wanted to find a fix for it. He then said "no" again and hung up on me.

I had my 3rd booster Pfizer vaccination today. The girl at reception (Amanda, same name as me lol) was really friendly and welcoming. My appointment was bang on time and the nurse was really friendly, efficient and the jab was pain free. Great first experience.

Very accommodating personnel. Enough space in the waiting lounge even with social distancing. Only complain is the parking in front of the facility, but there are parking few meters at the side. I enjoyed talking to the medical personnel who administered my booster shot.

Appointment cancelled last minute due to being new to the clinc and couldn't see any other dr until next week. Had called explaining I was new when booking and was told I could see this dr. Had cancelled plans to see this dr as it was the only time they were available. Been super anxious about seeing a dr due to how clincs and drs have treated me in the past. Big disappointment. Considering how urgently I needed an appointment as had a huge asthma attack the day before, and needing new mental referral and medication due to previous dr being very creepy and overstepping boundaries.just feel hurt

Good location with adequate parking. Clean, tidy and spacious premises. Friendly and helpful staff. Attended this clinic to get my COVID booster and was happy with the service and overall experience.

DPV Mill Park is undoubtedly the most professional, organised and clean medical centres I have attended. Dr Syed will always listen to your issues and concerns before providing a medical diagnosis. Allison the Clinical Nurse is always so helpful and makes sure you are well informed with what's happening. Rita, Amanda and Sriyani always greet you with a smile and have been great in assisting myself and mother with making bookings.
They are such a great team. I highly recommend this Medical Centre!

Dr Syed Arif Ahmed is undoubtedly one of the most competent and trusted Doctors I’ve had at a local surgery in years or if ever when thinking on this. Trust is a huge need when putting your health in the hands of another person. Every visit I’d have my guard up but his knowledge and kindness has and most importantly given me a trusted doctor that will be with me in the future.
I recommend Arif percent.

This place was awesome, friendly, caring until it changed management and ownership. A few staff and Dr left this practice. And so did I, I was a weekly vistor for many years due to my ongoing injuries with the hospital. I found a new clinic that have a similar kindess DPV had before the sold it awhile back. If i was you, i would look for a clinic that offered more then just a dr certificate or meds. Sorry to say this, but it is my truth.

I was told by lee the receptionist to see another gp at another clinic as he could not offer me an appointment. Did not take this lightly and still waiting on a call from management

Where to begin, recently my wife and I were refused appointments to get our medical history so we could get Covid vaccinations under 1B (needing pfizer as we are both under 50) we were told appointments were being saved for people who actually need them.

This is also the only clinic we have been to that have charged us to fill out some paperwork for vicroads for my wife.

The nurse in charge of getting blood as well doesn't seem to be able to do so easily under any circumstances.

Add to that the fact at least one of the doctors doesn't really listen and has her own ideas she would rather insist on every time (like surgery for a weight issue) instead of dealing with the cause of it.

I would encourage people to only come here as a last resort. We will be switching GPs and never coming back.

Absolutely terrible experience, I have a medical exemption from wearing a mask and they still tried to make me wear one, and no, I do not need a permit or a letter from anyone to do so. Refused to let me see the doctor and then called the police on me to throw me out. This is an absolute abuse. I will be taking them to court for discrimination. Oh and Dr Arif is the most rude arrogant Dr I have ever met. It's like he hates treating patients. Dr Arif, you are not better than anyone but in fact the way you are is lower than the soles of my shoes.

Well the place is pristine and clean, but the doctors seem to struggle with time management (how hard is it to call on time when I am the first appointment in the morning? And I guess the admin staff have to deal with the onslaught). I do not like the power that Doctors have (and the lack of accountability to patient care) but the admin staff are lovely and sweet.so be nice to everyone doing their job and encourage them to do better

I called this morning and spoke to the receptionist Sarah. I was informed that no appointments are available for the 24/11/20. This information is understandable had it not been for the rude and self important attitude exhibited by the receptionist. One would think that a simple receptionist job with a pre requisite involving people skills would deter such a person from seeking this position. I am a Registered Nurse and know a thing or two about how to talk to people.

So, you know how you're waiting in a waiting room and there are people around you, so your appointment runs late?

Ever sat in a waiting room alone for half an hour past your appointment time?

I can understand delays, but I can't understand what keeps someone for half an hour when there's only one person to be seen.

Very bad experience. The worst GP I have ever seen. He does not care how you feel and is not helpful. Even not respond your question.

The doctor who originally was supposed to see us did not show up and we were not told about it. We were seen by another doctor after 50 minutes of waiting.
