Publique Bakery

I come here every week and it is hands down the best pastry bakery in Preston. The almond croissant is my favourite and I also love the coffee. Their croissants are amazing and they make delicious Portugese tarts. It's in the middle of Preston Market so then you can enjoy your pastry and coffee in the great seating and table options available. Great for kids with loads of safe open space for them to run around in. Be prepared to queue about 10-15 minutes on a Saturday morning but believe me it's worth the wait!

Very poor customer service.
Flat and soggy croissant and said it’s very fresh that why it’s flat and soggy. Although the coffee is still good. Been a regular there last 2years
but very very disappointed now.

I love this hidden gem! Most of all, the almond croissant is the best! Too bad they don't have any branch in the west.

Best croissant in Melbourne hands down! Some other high end bakeries sell pretty looking ones at a much higher price without nailing all the elements that a croissant should be, and in my opinion are dry in most cases. Publique has the right flavour, texture and that buttery goodness that we all look for in a croissant. Closest thing you'll find outside of France.

Lovely little French bakery. You have to have their croissants, the coffee is good and there are so many tasty treats try. I've been coming here for a few years now and the quality is always exceptional and staff are friendly.

This has to be one of the greatest experiences I've had in a while! Just go and try for yourself!

Sweet garlic croissant. Good experience. I have been here many times and their sweets would never let you disappoint.

The Almond and the chocolate and almond croissants are to die for. As good as the croissants you would get in Europe! Coffee is ok/good - 4/5
