Publique Bakery reviews
29The best almond croissant I’ve ever had! Great place, great pastry, we’ve got loaded with different sorts of pastries and sourdough bread, looooooved all! Highly recommended
Highly recommend Garlic croissant, Egg benedict danish. Especially Pumpkin cruffin with pumpkin cream cheese filling is a surprise taste for me & Pain bulgogi reminded me of Korean taste.
Definitely comeback to try more their wide selection of pastries with reasonable price also.
If you love crunchy pastries this is where you need to be. Once you eat their pastries, you won’t go anywhere else. Bread looks great to but I just can’t get past the pastry
The baked goods are amazing. Croissants, danishes and portugese tarts are pure indulgence.
Only caveat is sometimes you get the incredibly rude staff lacking even the most rudimentary customer service skills. Asian lady being the rudest.
Self-entitled staff need a good stern talking to on their people skills. Could be an award winning bakery if it wasn’t for the bad eggs ruining it.
The best pastries that are fresh, tasty and yum. There is always a line of people waiting to place their order but it is worth the wait. Staff are awesome and work quickly so make sure you get there. The almond croissant are my favourite
Overrated and overpriced.
Paid for 2 take away croissants and got a mini one instead.
Careless service.
The fest French pastries we had in Melbourne so far. The chocolate croissant is particularly good. We will come for sure again.
Soo yammi i LOVED the pastries they were so french. As a french person i approve! Oui oui bonjour
Always delicious, always fresh. It's a shame they're not open every day of the week (but they're reliant on the trading days of the Preston Market). Must try: Cronuts — either flavour, almond croissants and quiche lorraine. Oh and how could I forget the sourdough — all are great but the olive loaf is truly mouth watering.
Wow, a nice hidden croissants place with a nice cup of coffee. Must try garlic croissant, almond croissant, danishes with a coffee. Highly recommended
I hate this place, I gained 3kg because of their croissants which I can’t help buying at least 2 every time I pass by. Croissant stick with sesame was also great. Love multigrain loaf.
Let's bring friends to sit and sip coffee and eat a delicious piece of bakery at #Publique, a small café in the heart of Preston Market.
As for the lifestyle of traveling and telling stories. We will take everyone to know French artisan bakery popular among people in this area. Guaranteed fresh, fragrant from the oven. Baked to see each other fresh.
The highlight of this bakery is the croissant, which is the signature of this shop.soft croissant Bite it in and smell the butter in your mouth. The butter at this shop smells really good. For those who do not like to eat thin crispy flour. This shop is the answer. It's a very big piece too, priced at only $4.2, market price. So yum highly recommend
Look, I know there are so many popular, well known, instagram famous patisseries around town but if you want the real deal with out the pretentiousness and the expense that comes with it, please eat here. It’s by far one of the best I’ve had and I’m comparing this to France and other European patisseries. Heaven in layers and layers of buttery goodness…. Ahhh drooling just a little
Massive queues say this place serves good coffee. I don't drink coffee. I go for the crosaunts. High end products
The BEST croissants in all of Melbourne. Authentic buttery crunchy deliciousness. Please, never stop, never change. ️
Just superb all round. The queue to order isn't based on hype; it's because their pastries are so good. Try their almond croissant, kouign-amann, raspberry Danish, coffee.anything really! You won't regret it.
Must try: Portuguese egg tarts & Almond croissant! Always has a long queue, but worthy. Personally, I don’t like raspberry ones. Tried different types of croissants, almond wins!
I would recommend this coffee shop to anyone who visits the Preston market!
Their coffees are made to perfection and their almond breads are the best!
Excellent customer service!
Great coffee and fantastic service! The almond croissants are to die for, especially if you can catch them straight out of the oven!
Excellent croissant, best value in Melbourne. Almond not as good, but still delicious. Pistachio torsade just okay.
