Oh what a yummy takeaway we had tonight. Seafood pizza and pasta and a gorgeous prosciutto salad. Will be one of our favourite Italian order in. Thank you to the chefs for tonight’s amazing dinner!

Wow! Small place but an incredible find! Was lucky enough to call up for a table and they fit us in! The service is the best we’ve experienced in hospitality in a long long time! The staff / management / chefs went out of their way with a pizza order and truly made us feel special. Came right home to write this review. You don’t find both delicious food AND exceptional customer service in the same sentence these days. Thank you so much.

This is our local pizza go to. It's popular so recommend booking but on occasion we've not had difficulty walking in when eating early with our younger children. They do great take away - and despite the general difficulty of parking in Westgarth, we've never had too much trouble picking it up. They've expanded their outside dining capacity on a side street which is a nicer al fresco option than on High street.
If it's a very hot evening and you're eating before sunset, the indoor tables receive the setting sun and it can get uncomfortable in spite of the air conditioning and blinds - so consider making the request to sit away from the window if booking in summer. Otherwise - highly recommend for dine in or take away.
Always ask about their specials - I'm always disappointed when I forget to.

Stumbled upon this place looking for somewhere to eat while my regular was closed that served authentic Italian and catered to gluten free. 10/10 from me, will be back! Extra win that they are coeliac accredited

The gluten free pizza with caremalised onions is delicious. And the mint, pea and cabbage salad. Also the fries and the spaghetti marinara. All is great. And a relaxed but stylish atmosphere.

Wow the other reviews aren’t exaggerating about the quality service here. Super friendly and helpful staff - they were never intrusive or neglectful but the perfect balance.

Both of our meals tasted so fresh, flavoursome and delicious. The pasta was the perfect portion for me. My partner polished off his pizza though the neighbouring diner took some of his pizza home, if that gives you an idea of size/filling. I also had the tiramisu, which was a little sweet for my partner but I finished the whole bowl happily.

Noise levels were also very comfortable - had no trouble having a conversation without raising our voices. While it’s true that some tables are set quite close to each other, the overall warm welcoming vibe of Primo made it feel cosy rather than cramped.

Will definitely be coming back!

A lovely and delicious restaurant. The staff were great at managing to squeeze my group in without a booking. Prompt service and a great menu. Everything was a great price, expect the garlic bread was slightly over priced considering the small portion size.
I will go back again and recommend to others.

Amazing pizza, we ordered GF base Margarita and Capriccio. It was yummy, fresh and not chewy. And the rocket salad with fig is superb as well.

The lovely staff member Lily was exceptional. She delivered our order to us across the street even though we said we’d save her the hassle and pick it up. Best customer service, thanks Lily:)

Good pizza- creative menu and tasted nice. Service was very friendly and attentive. We sat outside and enjoyed it.

Please update your booking system and confirmation details. And train your staff better. We arrived for our booking (party of 3) on Monday evening to be told that we are required to be gone by 6.45pm. Our booking is only for 1.5hours. After querying that this was not advised at time of booking, the manager stated “its in the confirmation email”. After reviewing the confirmation email again, I informed him, that it is in fact not in the confirmation email. And I was told to email the address at the bottom of the confirmation email to complain, that email address goes direct to management. This all ate up the first 10min of our booking.

We then had to wait a further 10min for a glass of wine to arrive, even though there were only 2 other tables in the restaurant and two waitresses were standing behind the reception counter. We queried with one waitress and was informed its on its way. (Given we are under a time constraint you would expect prompt service). It became obvious that the waitresses were waiting for the manger to pour the wine, and he was at the front reception training/inducting a new starter!

As it was a rainy evening and one of our party was running a little late, as she was stuck in traffic, so we had to call her and read the menu out over the phone so we could place an order on her behalf as we were continuously informed by the wait staff we had to be out by 6.45pm! We get it, you’ve told us numerous times now.

We were told the “early bookings” are always only for 1.5hrs the later bookings are for 2 hours. Again, information that would have been important to communicate at the time of booking.
Our friend arrived and the food arrived, whilst the staff watched us eat and then came over again to inform us we need to be out at 6.45pm. Completely interrupting our catch up.

Again at 6.30 we were told we need to be out at 6.45. The poor waitress was clearly timid to have to come and tell us. The wait staff then started clearing the table when we all haven’t finished (still 10min before we needed to vacate) and attempted to take the wine glass that still had wine in it.

I personally did not have time to finish the entire pizza so left it, the other guests raced to finish their meals. We vacated the table at 6.44pm!

This was the most uncomfortable, rushed and non-enjoyable evening out I’ve ever experienced. The only reason we stayed was because it was a Monday evening and the majority of the venues in the area were closed, otherwise we would have walked out in the first 15min!

Apathetic staff who are clearly not interested in being there and disgruntled with management. With such lack lustre service 1.5hour booking is a challenge to eat a meal. There was certainly no time for dessert. We will not be returning or recommending the restaurant, however from the experience management couldn’t care less and this review will fall on deaf ears anyway.

Never been spoken to so rudely as we were from a staff member here. Entrees and mains came out together. While we were still eating we were told to finish up. Then a male comes out of the kitchen and says we have been told multiple times to leave and how many times do we need to be told.
In shock we paid and left.
Just disgusting, and never again.

An amazing little slice of Italia from start to finish. It truly is perfetto for any occasion. The front of house and wait staff were only topped by the food.

Primo is our go to place in Westgarth for pizza and pasta. Wine list is punchy and good. Staff always attentive and efficient. If we’re heading to the flip they make sure we’re out in time.

Love Primo, food is great and the staff are always friendly. Both my wife and I can highly recommend the White Boy pizza
