Staff are amazing Super helpful, caring and passionate about healthy living. Have shopped here a few times and bought a bourbon vanilla candle, non-toxic deodorant, and healthy supplements. Highly recommended

I agree. The staff are rude, aggressive and standoffish. I went in today to see if I could exchange some hair dye that was unopened that I purchased 1 week ago. I was friendly, and showed the transaction on my bank statement. I got an interrogation about the purchase - "Who served you? " "At what time? " "On what cash register? " etc, On top of this, I got several lectures about how complex the operation of getting me an exchange was, because " Our system is registered on each register, and I have to search for the transaction, and it is so complex because. " The sales person let me know that he was really bothered by me asking to exchange the unopened colour for a shade lighter. To add to the unpleasantries, because I bought the hair dye on a day that had a 15% discount, I had to pay the difference to make up the full price, which was really quite wrong of them to expect this. Nevertheless, I obliged because I really needed to get away from the gaslighting and it was making me upset and anxious. There are two supervisory staff in this shop that belittle their customers and junior staff. I have given this store a go for a few years now to just get my hair colour, and it is always an unpleasant experience, particularly when I get the two senior sales staff. They are quite unhygienic as well. This particular staff member grubby hands. They have had other staff that are OK, but I have noticed the retention of them is not happening. One of the poor young women who I think must have been fairly new at the job was getting harangued by the bully that served me when I walked into the store today. It really is not worth having to go through this kind of ridiculous exchange.
I will get my hair dye elsewhere from hereon in.

The people in this store are so kind, they go over and above to make you feel welcome, to assist with their vast knowledge and always take time to say hello to our dog. There is a huge variety of products, it’s my go to place!

I rocked up at 5 minutes before close, had a few things on my list that was grabbed and packaging in a few mins and I was out of there. Told the guy I gave him a score of 11 out 10.

Some of the best health supplement brands are stocked here. Would be great if you could order online but that doesn't take anything away from the service and quality.

I went in the store today and the staff made me feel really uncomfortable, I purchased 4 different raw seeds, but the staff made me feel really uncomfortable and judgmental. Really disappointed with the customer service.

THE WORST SERVICE EVER!
Went to Prahran Health last Sunday to find soy protein for cooking to make vegan bolognese. I asked the guy behind the counter and he sent me to the powder protein section. I explained to him again what I was making and he said oh maybe somewhere down the back. I spent 10 mins trying to find it. Meanwhile the sales clerk is hanging out behind the counter chatting away to his colleagues instead of actually helping me. It was very disheartening. Never found it. I would shop here on many occasions purely because they stock products I like and they're local. But, have been disappointed in the service time after time.

I feel like the team here are quite judgemental, aggressive and rude, I have yet to have a positive experience. When I enquired about certain products I was lectured and told that my choices are bad and they attempted to force sell me another product. I will not be returning there I will invest my money in another business where customer service is an enjoyable, informative and non judgemental experience.

I absolutely love Prahran Health foods, it's my favourite health food store in all of Melbourne! Such friendly and knowledgeable staff, would highly recommend! The environment is so lovely.

This shop is just a scam, they make you believe that what they are selling is healthy but the American owner is just after your money! Do not go

Recommended this place by a friend. Excellent service, great knowledge. Awesome range of products. They don't try and sell you something you don't need (supplements etc), in fact, they'll tell you the opposite and not to buy, to save you money if it's not what you actually need.

Great customer service and has a wide variety of vitamins which does wonders for the wife and I. Have been coming here for years and there's no better place in the southern part of Melbourne.
