Prahran Aquatic Centre reviews
49I really enjoy this pool as it is heated and the staff are very lovely. However, as a bit of constructive feedback, I had an early morning swim session where it is meant to be 40 minutes maximum due to COVID 19 but I accidentally thought it was 45 minutes. I finished my swim at 42 minutes and the lifeguard absolutely blasted and humiliated me for going overtime in front of the whole swimmers who were going to have there swim session at 6 am. However, there was still another swimmer from the same session as me still in the pool but he didn't even get a stern talking too which is very inconsistent. I sincerely apologised for making this timing error as I understand that there is a strict schedule but I didn't really appreciate the way I was treated as it was very unprofessional.
Beet, pool, ever! Made me a better swimmer, a stronger athlete, a better professional, a loving husband, a caring parent, got a raise at job and a new car. Thank you pool.
Great value 50m.pool with lanes for slow to fast swimmers. Sauna 85 Celsius 150 degrees Fahrenheit and a spa. $14 for as long as want. Superb. On the Covid 19 cannot exist in over 80'c temperatures hiint sauna.
This pool is so cute! The grass area is lovely and I liked looking at people showing off their bodies. There were more people on the grass then in the pool.
Very nice place where to spend a couple of hours in the solarium, swimming pool and spa.
Honest price and very wellness atmosphere
Love this pool, the water is amazing, great cafe with good healthy choices, great coffee. Parking can be tricky.
My favourite Melbourne pool for my Tuesday afternoon 1.5km lap swim. Well maintain by Stonnington Council and good staff. Lovely during cold Melbourne winters.
The option of a steam & Sauna side by side is great. The lane swim is a little congested, I witnessed an argument and the staff were adequate.
Very friendly place to swim, relax and cool down. Everyone welcome. Very convivial, safe atmosphere.
Great spot for a summer swim and family time. The kiddy pool is the perfect spot for the little ones.
Nice outdoor pool. 50m lanes. Even during summer usually enough space to swim laps.
Water can get a bit dirty on hot days with ma y people.
Terrific pool and staff. Super helpful and kind. Fantastic facilities for everyone, squad swimmers through to kids. Really inclusive vibes. Sundays are awesome. The cafe is brilliant, terrific coffee. We really liked the woman who runs it.
Such a great place to spend your day, bring some food, pay the 6.50 entry and chill by the pool. Great changing rooms and toilets.
Nice enough pool. Local "hot shot" swimmers not great at sharing their lane and had a whinge to lifeguard.
I love swimming here. Spa, sauna and steam room available, big locker rooms, free lockers, kids pool, 50 meter pool, plenty of showers
It’s an oasis - with actual water. There is shade and plenty of room for the parade of narcissistic hard bodies at the other end. They can preen without disturbing the family vibe. Occasionally one of the landlocked bay watchers have to blow a whistle and crack it. Overall - as public pools go. It’s a winner. If you have kids be prepared for questions about their age. It determines the colour of the all critical wristbands
Local aquatic centre. Has a very retro vibe to it, but pleasant nonetheless. Always full with locals on a hot day. Cafe serves great food AND coffee. There's also a swimwear shop at the front, as well as sauna and hot tub facilities.
The kiddie pool area is fantastic, lots of green grassy space and the sails provide plenty of shade.
Really lovely outdoor pool with friendly staff. Choose your times wisely and you should have a pretty open pool. There’s plenty of seating options with benches in the stands, banana chairs on the deck and lots of grass to put your towel down on. It’s around $6.50 for a swim plus a bit more to use the sauna and spa. Great value.
