Prahran Aquatic Centre

The aquatic centre has reopened after 6 months closed for a cosmetic uplift and few upgrades. The sauna, steam room and spa are operating and the coffee shop is up and running. To obtain a membership now you can use a website called active Stonnington and manage your payments from there.

Good little local pool to do laps in. Not too busy when I went. I thought it would be cold as it was outdoors but it was heated and fine. Steamroom and spa was nice too.

What's the gayest pool in Melbourne of course and most congenial loads of great people of all different ages very chatty very friendly it's just the places filthy dirty all the time black mould everywhere the staff I nice and do what they can but they're not allowed to do any cleaning even if I wanted to and of course the cleaners don't clean

So fresh, summer vibes sometimes a bit too busy but perfect if you can get there when there are less people

Great place to relax, clean 50 meter pool, relaxing on the grass and very affordable prices!

Perfect place to swim and dry on the grass. Cozy vibe and great atmosphere. Missing a star, because they didn't provide soap in the showers, so not all people wash there genitals!

David was very rude and interrupted me while I was in the sauna asking for wrist band. They should make wristbands available for paid customers. Why go hunting for patrons with wristbands? Can you imagine being treated like this at a swimming pool.

Excellent 50m outdoor pool, with great lawn & also shaded grandstand areas. I accidentally left some clothes behind at the pool recently, and staff members Joe & Sam were extremely helpful in helping me retrieve them

The change rooms are in a shocking state. Mould everywhere. Can no longer walk in there without getting asthma

The spa pool, sauna and spa pool together with an Olympic size pool provide an immersive experience. Staff are very friendly please enjoy.

This pool is run down and does not deliver a good experience for swimming laps. The water was so cloudy I couldn't see the bottom of the pool or see the end; I suspect that may have been all the sunscreen in the pool. The shallow end is so shallow one cannot tumble turn. Council, it's time to upgrade this venue.

Perfect for young families. The children's pool is covered with sail shades and there is lots of shade on the grass near the pool

Best 50m pool in the area. Love the old fashioned spectator area where you can watch the eccentric locals.

Love this place. Very casual, affordable and has a very nice atmosphere surrounded by green grass, trees and a community park. Amenities are a little dated, but clean enough.

Clean pool with friendly staff. Plenty of various seating areas, grass, benches, elevated platform, grand stand.
Water was clean and refreshing.
Foyer has a varied range of swimmers and goggles for sale.

Great place to swim. Lots of areas outdoors to soak up some Sun, nice shady grass patches and of course the grandstand area. Good facilities that are well maintained.

Prahan Aquatic Centre is a moderately busy swim centre, well equiped and serviced with
cheap simple well chosen food items.

Great spot for a swim. Incredibly well-priced memberships. However, be warned that it can be very cruisy.

Good to have a swim but a little crowded with extra people allowed now. Understand the difficulties with Covid though.
